I really enjoyed this book.
I enjoyed this as an audiobook. Cute story
I loved this book. Zelda is a fantastic character. She‘s on the fetal alcohol syndrome chart and it has not slowed her down. She needs routine but learns to trust herself, she can‘t lie and when she is asked to lie she spills it anyway. And the big part of Zelda I love is her love of Vikings and how that love has made her strong. Great as an audiobook.
I loved this book just as much as the first one - Geekzilla. I listened to the book and was sucked so far into the storyline I listened to it within 24 hours. My daughter used to attend Comic-Con so I could relate to that part. Just a fun and entertaining book.
‘the sum total of who my uncle is,‘ Mary says, consists of ‘lies, misrepresentations, and fabrications.‘ He‘s ‘incapable of growing, learning, or evolving.” He lacks true competence, his ‘real skills” being “self-aggrandizement, lying, and sleight of hand.” His own sister, a former federal appellate judge, thinks of her brother as a ‘clown,” unsuited for office. This book really sheds light on why Donald acts and reacts the way he does.
Listening to this and I find it super fascinating. Really explains a lot. Scary this man is running the country.
Not even two full days of listening and already over half the book done. Fascinating book!
Oh my gosh! This was SO good! So many surprises and shocks weaves throughout the story. I didn‘t want to put it down. Worth the read.
Started this one last night. My exclusive #OwlCrate cover. I‘m excited to get it read!
This is one of my favorite mystery series. If you haven‘t picked it up then hurry up and do so. This is book four of the series and it‘s another great addition. I did not know who the murderer was until they were revealed. As always this was filled with humor and strong characters. I love how independent Veronica is for the time period. And I love her and Stoker together. I can‘t wait for the next installment.
I enjoyed this book so much I read it in a day. I stayed up until 1 am and 2% left on my iPad battery. Great characters and I loved that the POV changed between the three main characters. Well worth the read.
I found this book very interesting. I learned a lot about some of the decisions that were made. I loved the part where he is in line at the cafeteria and a guy didn‘t recognize him. “Dude, I‘m the director of the FBI, you work for me” “You look a lot different than your photo on line”. I love that his wife laughed and said that should be said to you everyday.
I started the audiobook in the car to work. On the way home it hit track 9 disc 1 & said part 2. I said nope, can‘t do it, this has not grabbed my attention. Fastest time I have ever bailed on a book. Anyone else feel this way or did you love this? Under The Tuscan Sun is one of my favorite movies but I have never read the book.
Every Kristin Hannah book I read rips my heart open. This one is no exception. For the first time I listened to the audiobook, the narrator does a great job with capturing the characters & their emotions. I loved Large Marge. There was a spot I had to stop listening because I was heading into lunch with a friend & didn‘t want to ugly cry.
I rarely get printed books from the library anymore because I have so many piled up but forgot this one was live in the queue. I‘m looking forward to reading this book. I love retelling of old stories.
I‘ve been reading the different posts about this and how people thought it was bad. I didn‘t think it was too bad. I did wonder what the point of the story could be, there seemed to be a lot of things happening without purpose and I didn‘t really care about the characters. I don‘t know if I would pick up a book two. I feel like this was stretched out for a possible trilogy but I think with some work it could be a stand alone book.
I‘m having a hard time putting this one down. I was going to take it on my trip in 3 days but I will probably finish before then.
It‘s always exciting when an author acknowledges your review. If you like psychological thrillers, this is really good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Who has read this book. What a fantastic debut novel! It‘s now on my all-time favorite list. I can‘t wait to see the movie. I listened to the audiobook.
If you have not read anything by this author and you like a great story with fun characters pick this up. I have read all her books and she just keeps getting better and better.
I can‘t wait to get started on this book and find out what happens next! It‘s going to be a quiet weekend so I‘m going to fill the kid pool I got at Target yesterday and read the day away.
Soaking up a little bit of sun while enjoying this book. My heart goes out to Chrissy for what she endured as a child with her stepfather. I love watching This Is Us.
I‘ve only read a few pages and I can already tell this is going to be a very enjoyable book that I will have a hard time putting down.
Another win by Sophie Kinsella. Lots going on, several misunderstandings along with a few laughs. Everything comes together and makes sense at the end. Very fun read.
This was a pretty good book as an audiobook. They used a cast of characters so the voices were age appropriate. I‘ve started the next book in the trio loft but I‘m disappointed that it‘s not a normal trilogy.
I‘ve watched the movie and listened to the book. They were both very good. This really shines a light on the lives and relationships of teenagers.
A nice surprise this weekend an author pointed out to me. I'm honored to be a top reviewer on Goodreads when they have over 25 million members. I'm sure I will drop off next month but still it's exciting to be recognized for all the reviews I have written.
I absolutely love this series! This is another really good addition to the Charley Davidson story. Lots of shocks in this one along with the usual laughs. I listened to this entire series until the last two and the narrator is fantastic. I rarely read books twice but this series I would purchase the audiobooks and listen to them over and over.
This book was so much fun! The characters were wonderful. Loved Aunt Tootie and the little girl June. Snarky, feisty and in your face. I can't wait to read the next installment. I have a new favorite author! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Slowly getting through this one. It's been kind of fascinating how the women wanted to prove they could fly too and how people didn't take them seriously including their families.
Uploading Clash of the Kings so I can listen to it at work. CD driver doesn't function on work computer so a few steps to upload books to drown out my co-workers in the open air office. Can't wait to listen to the series!
Finally getting to my Owl Crate purchases. This is the first one I received. I know it's from last year but my book pile is kind of high.
This book shows no matter what a family looks like on the outside, you don't know what is happening behind closed doors. Nina and her boys have to start over with nothing after her husband Finn dies and leaves an $8 million pound debt. She has no job experience but determination. This book really shows how to no matter how bad things are you can survive. Beautiful writing, I shed several tears.
I'm really excited to read this 3rd book of the trilogy and see what Juniper is up to this time. This trilogy has been so much fun and Donna does a great job with the characters.
This is such a sad tragedy. To lose your 8-year-old while on vacation while rafting & later finding out it could have been prevented if the rafting company cared more about safety than profit is heartbreaking. This family learned how to go forward & live without their son in the physical world when tragedy can pull a family apart. This made me tell my daughter not to go rafting on vacation & makes me think of my cousin's rafting business. #24in48
I'm addicted to Owl Crate, especially when I get fun stuff like this magnet in the box.

I really enjoyed this book. Loved all the characters and the story pulled me along. I stayed up to finish it and didn't realize how late it was. I grew up on a farm and miss it. This book brought me back home. Also makes me want to trade in my husband for a cowboy. I've always had a soft spot for cowboys. Great summer read. I felt like I was right there on the Bodine Ranch.
Saw this painting at Crystal Bridges Art Museum yesterday in Bentonville, Arkansas and thought that is so me minus the cat. I think this was called Woman Reading In Bed. The artist even got the hair correct. 😊❤️📚
I'm trying to write my blog review and the neighbors are shooting off fireworks. Tonight the Thunder Shirt isn't quite doing it.
