Gissy My pile is bigger every week, month, year....but in soooo happy. Books are my therapy during this pandemic situation and frequent earth shaking (in my country). Not a cheap therapy though l. 4y

MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm People who say “You have too many books” always puzzle me. People are allowed to have collections of all sorts of other things without the same judgement. Movies and video games for instance, musical instruments or tools, cars or Knick-knacks, etc. They are all considered acceptable, yet books are seen as something you sooner or later have “enough” of. 🤦‍♀️ Ridiculous. 4y

hannah-leeloo I'm reading this to my kids now, also read to them every night. Maybe try the Roald Dahl, Dick King Smith, Peter Pan books, Stuart Little, Lost girls, Disney Princess baby sitters...... 📚❤️📖 I hope some of these help 4y

wanderinglynn That is too precious! ❤️ Neil Gaiman has some kids books, like Chu‘s Day which is super cute. Also the classics like Winnie-the-Pooh, Corduroy, Richard Scary‘s books, the Berenstain Bears books, Where the Wild Things Are, The Snowy Day.

Jgotham I had my roof overhang the door a bit and the door wasn‘t as large as the entire library so it sheltered it against the rain and snow. I didn‘t ever have a water problem. But I did have some wasps trying to build there! 4y

TheSpineView I have a LFL box at the top of my drive. I bought one assembled on Etsy. I just had to paint it. Love watching the neighbors come by. 4y

Soubhiville @Jennaree3 you can order a kit from littlefreelibrary.org or you can buy one that‘s complete and ready to install either there or on Etsy. I bought pre-built ones and painted them myself. I have one for adults and one for children. It‘s a lot of fun to see what books are taken and left. 4y

Starting this on audible today! Thought I would give audio books a try instead of listening to music at work. Are you guys a fan?? Would love your opinions 🥰

SiameseCatsRead I can't listen to audiobooks unless I'm doing "mindless" things like playing on apps. I do like to listen to them to and from work in my car. I've almost had to train my brain to listen. I have ADHD, so it can be super hard to do 2 things at once. I started with books I knew (Harry Potter), and then went from there. Now I love them! 4y

Birdsong28 I also can't listen unless I am doing 'mindless' things as I need to be able to concentrate on them. I tend to listen whilst walking to work so I feel that I have used the time to it's full potential and got some reading time in when I normally wouldn't. I have read more books this way. 📚📖 4y

Suet624 I generally only like nonfiction on audio. I tend to unfairly judge fiction. I think I just space out too much with fiction. 4y

cdcnmac Yes, absolutely prefer audiobooks if the narrator is great/good it can improve the book- and you can multi task while you listen 🤓 4y
