pick4✨ I was encouraged to read this one by @Littlewolf1 who knows my reading style pretty well. It was an action packed, hate to love, and an amazing strong female lead. I liked so much of this book, but I would have to say the banter between the MC‘s caused me to laugh loudly. While the intimate scenes made me blush. The overall story line and that ending made this book unique and enjoyable. Man I can‘t wait for the next one!
so-soI don't get what all the foof is about. I was barely able to complete this one. It could've been about 80 pages shorter and had a lot less sex. I was never fully convinced they were in love, just lust.
so-soI didn‘t totally fall in love with Quicksilver, but it definitely kept me hooked. 🌵✨ The world is unique, and the tension between the main characters is fun to watch. 😈❤️ If you‘re into enemies-to-lovers and magic, it‘s worth a try! 📖🗡️
pickWas hesitant to read this thinking it was like all of the rest lately in the world of Romantasy. Loved this new world that the author has set up which mixes all of those creatures that we love. Not just fae but vampires and even a splash of witchery. Chunky book but it all needed to be there. 🧚🧚♀️🧚♂️🧚♀️ 2 nd book out Fall of 2025, 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
so-soSo I went into this hesitant given all the hype. And in the end I finished it. Enjoyed it enough. This is exactly the kind of book I like. Magic, mortals, fae, world in danger. It‘s way up my alley. However, it did feel kind of more of the same-like a b version of an SJM book. In the end, I like candy. But does it challenge me to think? No. Wish this surprised me more and the romance felt more genuine.
pickA fun read which has me excited for the sequel (due out later this year). It‘s a generally familiar story—girl living on the margins (stealing to survive) has unexpected powers & finds herself thrown into the midst of a war centuries in the making. Near death, she is saved by an angry, damaged but yet honorable fae warrior…& then things really get going. As familiar as things are, the story is well told, the characters entertaining. I enjoyed it.
Reading this one and enjoying it even more than I expected to…a nice surprise…
I finally gave into the hype and decided to give this a try. I like it, in particular the pacing and general vibe. It‘s giving early SJ Maas for sure. I‘m intrigued. Eager to see where it goes. I‘m about 40% through!
pickI enjoyed the storyline, however, I did not enjoy how the ✨spice✨ was written. I was cringing A LOT and said “seriously” out loud multiple times. I did find the plot compelling, though. Pick for the story, but how the spice is written could drop it down to a so-so for me.
I read books while he deals with all the trees that fell over the winter at the ol‘ primitive cabin. It‘s lookin‘ a little rough out here, but at least it‘s a nice low 50‘s morning! It‘s almost like it‘s spring for real this time!

•Given its length, I shouldn‘t have liked this, but I did. Sure, it had its issues, but I was entertained and intrigued, and the 20-hour audiobook flew by.
•Stella Bloom and Anthony Palmini gave great duet performances where Stella performed all the female voices and Anthony did the male ones and it was freaking fantastic.
pickI could not stop reading this. Once I started, I just kept going. This is such a twisting, messed up (in the best way) adventure. I can‘t wait for the next book to come out. I need it immediately. I don‘t know how many books are meant to be in this series, but let‘s just say I need them all. What a trip this book has been. I am so glad my best book friend recommended another winner.

pickQuicksilver is one book recommended to me by Booktok that lives up the hype in my opinion. The main character Saeris Fane grew on me . Kingfisher intrigued me the moment he appeared with his shadows. The secondary characters and villains are really interesting and well fleshed out. I loved the world building and the lore. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ read for me. #QuickSilver #CarinHart

pickThis book was a slow start for me. I‘m not sure if it‘s because the chapters are so long at the beginning but it took until about 60% to REALLY get into it. I can say I‘m super excited for book 2.. whenever it‘ll come out 😅😂
so-soI feel like the story itself has so much more potential.
Really hope the next part will have more detailed descriptions of the different species living in the realms and more places to discover 💫
The spice was just perfekt not to cringey and the right amount of „handling”🌶️

pickThis is just a rip roarer of a book — it grabs you as you begin and doesn‘t really let go again until the end. I found the story really intense and engrossing, and the characters compelling, if not always entirely likeable. The world building was maybe a little lacking, but strong enough. And the cliffhanger was NOT what I thought it would be at all, which was a nice surprise. If you like epic fantasy with a handful of smut, highly recommend.
I had a tough time picking my favorite for this month so I went for tagged because it was the most fun read. I read it slowly because I was savoring it. Way more world building and character development than most Romantasy and I really wish it had a better cover.
Tackling this chonker while I‘m on vacation — just glad I grabbed it on Kindle Unlimited and don‘t have to haul it around😅
pickThis was a delightful surprise. One of the few buzzy Romantasy books that I genuinely enjoyed. This is probably because it has actual world building, the romance is a slow burn and the steamy scenes are not cringy or over done. I really enjoyed this and look forward to more in this world. 5⭐️

pickThere's so many of these fantasy/romance book series out there now and a lot of them miss the mark for me. Sometimes the world building is so chaotic and filled with unusual names and words that it's just too much. The underlying themes are usually yawningly similar.
Quicksilver worked though. It did get a bit slow in the middle, but made up for it by the end. Truly enjoyed this! So many interesting things happened. I neeeed the next book now. 5⭐

so-soThere was no emotion coming off the FMC & MMC unless they were banging. Last 20% of the book is good, spice was good, but I don‘t understand Kingfisher as everyone‘s new book boyfriend; I simply cannot lust over a 1700 year old male who never learned how to communicate properly.
I‘m usually pretty lenient with the first of a series, I know we need time for worldbuilding & establishing the systems, but this wasn‘t anything too new & took forever.
I think I hate this book. I think I‘m being trolled by all the reviews of “ACOTAR Vibes” & “Kingfisher is the best book boyfriend”
Did Injust expect too much?

panUgh!!! I like a good first draft, this was not good, but read like a draft. Predictable. Very fanfiction-y.
She's not like the other girls. He can't stand her. But they are drawn together...
The banter was very YA (fae don't know what a ghost is, but know what Cliffs Notes are?). It's only NA or even adult Romantasy because swearing and 🌶️
I'm definitely not the target audience for this train wreck.

There were a couple characters i was curious about, and a few directions of the story i was also curious about. It‘s a very ppopular fantasy romantasy on goodreads- just not one i love. #hyggehourreadathon
