An anthology of very short horror pieces written by various authors.

I don‘t have kids so I don‘t have an opinion about the appropriateness of this for actual little humans, but I—as an adult—had liked it. The motif of a monster under the bed repeats ad nauseam, but most of the stories are creative and enjoyable (in a scary horror way).

A drop of refreshing fun between grown up volumes.

3/5 ⭐️ Children's/MG short horror stories/graphics. I'm not a big fan of horror, but I figured as a children's book it couldn't be too scary... 😬 Some definitely creeped me out. If I read this when I was young I definitely would have had nightmares, but maybe I'm a scaredy cat. 🐈‍⬛

My nephew and I recently read these tales while on a long car ride. The short reads were fun to read aloud, and several even made us chuckle. Great collection for young readers. Authors such as Neil Gaiman and Margaret Atwood have contributed to this collection, with many others.

Guys, this collection is just fantastic! Tiny bitesized dark stories, ranging from funny to freaky, all from amazing and varied authors and artists. I so need to buy this one!

This here is my #GotoAllHallowsReadRec. I've given this little gem to several people in line with the #giveascarybook tradition of #AllHallowsRead in the past few years and they all loved it. The stories of things that go bump in the night are super short (as the title suggests) and a good kind of creepy. Perfect for coffee breaks and those other moments in-between doing things. 🎃👻 #recommendsday
