2 years ago today, I visited Paddington Station, found the Paddington Bear statue and bench seat and bought my very own gorgeous bear. It was a brilliant, quintessentially rainy London day, that I spent with my bestie, weaving in and out of cafes to avoid the rain - ending with dinner at my very favourite restaurant in that part of the world. It was pretty much perfect.

I bravely left behind what looked like a complete set!!!

(I‘m collecting another edition - will keep my eye on the prize!)

Love Paddington and this was the first fiction book I got as a child and got me into reading fiction. Need to reread. Love that own this. Six hour challenge for #24in48. What‘s the oldest children‘s book you have, or a book you‘ve held onto since your childhood?

I was in the cinema today, my mum and I were watching #Paddington 2 and we enjoyed it so much! It‘s surprisingly as good as the first one👌. I especially loved the #cinematography- it really shows how beautiful #London is. There were lots of funny scenes but also emotional scenes. Treat yourself and watch this #movie 🐾🐾🐾 #tgif #friyay

Spent a day working at Paddington this week & missed my own little bear, so bought this for some bedtime reading together. He loved it 💙

I watched Paddington last night with my nieces. It was so cute!! The Paddington books were some of my favourites as a kid!

In memory of Michael Bond. 🐻💼📚

Paddington Bear was one of the first series I remember my father reading to me, with its complex sentence structures and big words. (What other children's story uses the word "emigrated" in the first chapter?) Michael Bond helped to shape my early literacy in a way that no other author could have.
