I am posting one book per day from my extensive, and ever growing, TBR shelves. Some are old and some are new, some were gifts and some I don't remember why I bought them.

Day 4. #7Days7Covers #CoverCrush
@BookieBiker would you like to join? All you have to do is post 7 covers you love for 7 days. No explanation needed. Try to tag someone new to join in the fun. 😁
Chuck has gotten so very silly. I love his modern strategy of cramming three or four different underdeveloped novels into one, though.
At first I thought I was really going to enjoy this book, but the strange format made it difficult to follow, and I don‘t feel like anything was resolved in the end. ⭐️⭐️
Starting this book from @bookcollecter today...this page is everything!
I'm going to finish Circe on audiobook (thanks to the amazing @tpixie ❤). In the meantime before I start my #MakeMeReadIt August TBR, I'm going to read Rant! I love everything I've read by Palahniuk, so I'm really excited for this one.
Colorful eviscerated flesh. Reminds me of an anatomy coloring book I had as a kid.

One of the pages from my #ReadAndRant With @Tiffy_Reads . I‘m loving this!! So fun!
Starting my #ReadAndRant book for @Tiffy_Reads ! This is my favorite Palahniuk so I‘m going with it!
I love me some hilarious and offensive Palahniuk
From 10-17-17: Day 17: Weirdest Cover;I'm so behind because I really couldn't think of any. So, I did some research and realized there are more covers that I find weird because they don't truly match the story inside. Anyway, I also realized that most of Chuck Palahniuk's covers are bizarre so I chose my least favorite of his books. #bookriot #riotgram #weirdestcover
Ummmm what???? This book is hilariously dark and soooooo extra

Palahniuk is kinda synonymous with twists, like the Shyamalan of good writing. The only problem with twists, especially good and effective ones, is that you'll often know they're coming just from the cultural conversation ("Don't let anyone tell you how it ends" etc.) My advice: read as fast as possible and don't think about anything too hard the first time through.

My round six on our #tenatatime TBR project begins! Fifty books down from our huge stacks so far and it's always fun to pick a new batch.
Just finished this audio. I stuck with it but thought it was just so-so. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I'd read it. So many of the voices just did not resonate with me.
Every time I think about Buster Casey I remember that he stuck his nose pickings to the walls. Set the tone for the charachter really well.
Just started this on audio. Like the story. Not so much the narrator. Hoping it falls into a rhythm I can tolerate. #shouldhaveboughtthebook
#Riotgrams day 20 - favorite cover
Went through a real #Palahniuk phase during college. Rant isn't just my favorite of his novels, it ranks up there with my favorite novels period. One of those books you're definitely better off going into blind.
These are some of my #favoritecovers the covers are one of my favorite things about books #riotgrams
Day 3 of #riotgrams and all of my #OneWordTitles ... On the left we have the #MountTBR and on the right my frequent #reread stack. Everyone is ignoring that my TBR is annoyingly large, right? Good.
When your best friend cleans off their bookshelf and you reap the benefits
Finished this last night! This was my second time through it (first time was a few years ago on audio) and i think I loved it even more this time. Weird and insightful and I love how the story unfolds. And that ending! Ah! Anyways. I definitely recommend this and I think I will for sure read it again someday. 📖🙃🙂📖
Small towns have a tragic way of trapping young people and making them answer for small mistakes with the rest of their lives.
Sundays are for staying in bed with a book. [coffee is being made as I type this too!] #sundaymorning 📖☕️☕️☕️
Rant used to say, "Every family is a regular little cult."
Still, there's plenty of folks who find crazy people to be very attractive.
Rant's favorite saying was: "Some people are just born human. The rest of us, we take a lifetime to get there."
What. A. Trip.
I've read it twice now, because the first time I wasn't sure I understood. The second time I realised that it isn't really something you can *understand*, it's an experience. Both reads brought new perspectives, and I definitely plan on reading it again to see what else I can squeeze out of it!
Throwback Thursday: when I was in college I made a wedding dress out of some curtains and my mom's old wedding corset and showed up to a reading of Rant in costume. That was a fun train ride. 😂 I've since stopped reading Chuck, but at that time in my life his books were just what I needed. #tbt
I've had this hardcover since it was originally released. Can't really say why it's taken me so long to get around to it. The cover art is beautiful with flecks of gold that don't show completely in the photograph.
