I liked this more than I expected to, especially since I haven‘t read the first three in the series. Duncan is a believable self-made man, Georgiana is feisty and capable, and their conflict isn‘t too over-the-top. Of course a little trust and honesty would go@a long way, but then we‘d have no story.
Puts me at 7 hours flat and first finish of #24B4Monday @Andrew65 @SumisBooks @jb72
End of day 1 for @SumisBooks and I‘m on track for a goal of 15 hours. Nearing the end for this book and hoping for some more good reading time tomorrow. Good night, all!

The last two days hubby had to go to work early, and each day I had almost two hours to myself between him leaving and getting the kiddo up. Today he was back to normal schedule, so I had 20 minutes...that I stretched to 30 and let her sleep in a bit 😆. Still, not a bad start to #24B4Monday, when we include the Nancy Drew read-aloud over breakfast.

Babysitting the niecelets tonight and now that they‘re both in bed it‘s time to start reading. Good thing I‘d planned to stop by the used bookstore after work anyway. #romance #februaryreads
Boy do I love this series. Such a great ending to this series! Chase finds love 💕
I decided to read this, because I can usually read romances pretty quickly and it‘s almost Valentine‘s Day (which I actually don‘t really care about).
🌟🌟🌟🌟1/2 out of 5 🌟.
I loved this last installment to MacLean‘s Rules of Scoundrels series! Lots of moving pieces, some have been in play from before the first book. Beautifully written, Chase‘s story takes many turns on its way to the end! (Temple is still my favorite, sorry Chase!)
Now, with Mercury in retrograde, I‘m hiding from the 🌎 and working on checking off my challenges! This one covers the #LetterN for #LitsyAtoZ and #UnconventionalRomance for #Booked2018!
So, for 💋 I have decided to go with my favorite romance author, Sarah Maclean. I don‘t read tons of romance, but I‘ve read almost all of her books, and I have loved most of them. And here‘s a picture of me and my husband on our recent trip to the beach (which he would kill me for posting if he knew about it) #emojinov @RealLifeReading
Bk 4/finale. The elusive Chase is the mastermind behind The Fallen Angel gaming hell & the person who brought together Bourne (bk 1), Cross (bk2), & Temple (bk 3). But no one quite knows him. Duncan West the news magnate of London has a hidden past & gets Chase involved. When a long left Lady reappears in society, heads turn & the Chase is on. More dramatic than the others and pokes a finger at the old peerage system. Good payoff!
Taking a break to go to one of those stupid parties where your friends try to sell you stuff... probably not going to make it to 24 hours. #24in48
I'm up and en route to a run that is going to kick my ass. Hopefully in a good way, but probably in a way that reminds me how out of shape I am. But the good news is that it's #24in48 day, I get to see @kristenlcoates, and I've got Sarah MacLean on my headphones to keep me company. Let's do the thing.
An unconventional #besties pick for #sizzlinsummerbooks day 3 - I just love The Fallen Angel owners and the way that they support each other through ups and downs, engage in real talk and are happiest when they are honest with each other. As a side note, I love when friendship in a romance is developed enough that I can appreciate it!
This was delightful! If I hadn't had an early morning, I could have easily stayed up late to finished this in one day. I still managed ~280 pages in one day! It's a fun, well written romance with a bit of snark and a lot of strong women! I will definitely read more of Sarah MacLean and probably find one of her books for my next readathon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Starting my first Sarah MacLean! I've been told she's a great place to start for regency #romance with a feminist spin 🤞
I should mention that this weekend I aquired (quiet accidentally!) a new kitten. This is Calzone 🍕 He's a tiny snuggly-bug (for now! We expect him to get very big as he gets older! Though it's hard to tell, since we found him in an Ulta parking lot)
Reading has been really difficult lately 😖 #kittensoflisty
"You did not ask her if they were human multiples."
"I've had two human children, you might recall, husband"
Never change Pippa, never change. Seriously, I would read a book about a boring day for Pippa just to get her random thoughts and observations on the world and Cross trying to figure out wtf she's adorably on about.
4th&and last of the scoundrel series by @sarahmaclean and it is fabulous! The Chase reveal from the previous novel was perfect for the female lead, she's a total badass. Also as awesome a male lead who isn't some kind of lord/landed gentry- the dude works hard for a living running 5 billion newspapers. I think that's what I loved most, that in addition to being a great couple they also had their own careers that they loved&didn't have to give up.
The last book in the quartet and it was great. We learn more about the mysterious Chase and see her and Duncan fall in ❤. MacLeans books are so fun and I can't stop reading! #romantsy #historicalromance
I'm trying to read, but my husband, who is having a bad week, keeps interrupting. I know I should be nice, but I really want to tell him to shove off, so I can enjoy my book. #ThePerilsOfTheBookishWife
My #bookHaul from half-price books - I've been carrying around two gift certificates for over a year!
Y'all, I did not see this protagonist coming, and it's awesome.
I loved this entire series, but this one was my favorite!! It's one of those books I can read several times, and have already!!
Sarah MacLean is the only romance I read. Love this series.

When the bomb dropped at the end of book #3 about Lady Georgiana I'm pretty sure there was a gasp heard around the historical romance world (a large world by the way)!
The ENORMOUS plot twist alone is enough to make Lady Georgiana an unforgettable woman. But her skill, intelligence, capabilities, & vulnerabilities are what stay with you past the last page. 💗
So many rules for society. No talk of physical manifestations. No talk of drinking from skulls. My conversational arsenal is being whittled away...
What every precocious child needs: a mountain of a man as babysitter/book club member.
Sarah MacLean has me riveted yet again. Georgiana is my favorite!
