I Like You by Amy Sedaris
This is super fun. Great tips and funny suggestions. This book inspired me to have a "F*** It Bucket" in my house.

“Commit or decline. If you cannot come to the party, do not cancel at the last minute or give a message to a child to inform the host. And don‘t bother explaining why you can‘t attend because anything after “because” is bullshit.” 😆
This was pretty fun on #audio. It‘s a good mix of dark humor, which I love, and actual good tips. Plus, recipes. And I love that cover.
#TuneIntoNovember #AnotherNightOnMars 👽It's been ages since I've featured this book which never fails to make me giggle. I'm meant to be reading a review book for tomorrow but I'm binging Amy's TruTV show 'At Home with Amy Sedaris' which is like this book come to life. Amy sometimes seems like she is from another planet (in the best way) & an upcoming show has her befriending an alien👽with her famous cheeseball so it works for this prompt.😆💚👽
Don't leave a piece of jewelry at his house so you can go back and get it later; he may be with his real girlfriend.
Cookbooks on shelves instead of stacked up on a broken, red Rubbermaid bucket. I feel almost civilized.
Not that I need hospitality advice in my life at the moment, I just think Amy Sedaris is a riot and I had to see what this book was all about. One part useful, one part funny (in her sick humor sort of way), and I now want to make her recipe for blue balls for my next gathering.
#riotgrams #funnybooks I have other funny books & I've used this book for the same prompt but I can't help it-Amy Sedaris & her entertaining/crafts books never fail to make me laugh. I own 'I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence' but I probably should buy 'Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People" too-plus I just found out they're also audiobooks so all bets are off! I ? her blend of quirky earnestness & wacky mania & want to see her apartment?
Whaaaaaat? Y'all make a lady blush. I love @Litsy and all the lovely people I've met here and all the amazing books I've read because of you nerds. Thank you 😍🤗
What a lovely thing to wake up to - you like me!
I absolutely refused to get involved in social media for SO long, and then Litsy happened.
The rest of it is still not for me, but here? YES.
Thanks for all the book chat with strangers, Team Litten!
My new guide to life and food. Thanks to my dad for finding this gem!
#Day20 #AugustPhotoChallenge #funnybooks A friend gave me this Amy Sedaris book & it never fails to crack me up. Tips, crafts & recipes for a variety of parties: Lumberjack Lunch, Blind Date, Ladies Night, Entertaining the Elderly (that chapter font is giant!) & even Rabbits. The photos & writing are hilarious especially her Gift Giving & Pantyhose Craft sections (w/ step-by-step pics as Amy demos putting on pantyhose). Quirky, bawdy fun! 👍😀🎉
