RaeLovesToRead I have A Shock by Keith Ridgeway and I adore the cover. The other ones that I would definitely pick up and read the blurb of (based on the cover) are O beautiful, Pop Song and Antiquities... in fact, I may do some Googling now 😊 2y

Because I don‘t have enough expensive hobbies, I am trying to teach myself to sew. And I‘m obsessed with #bookbeau padded sleeves so I wanted to make my own.
While my first attempt was a train wreck, this second #booksleeve came out pretty good IMHO. Very Fall. It‘s a gift, so I hope they like it. I‘m on to the next one.
I do “seam” (🙄) to have problems with straight lines. Yep, I just did that.

Im so excited! My moms friends makes amazing things with her sewing machine! She made me a wallet and as i was saying thank you i told her if she ever makes booksleeves id be interested in buying them. My mom said “you just challeneged her”. And what do you know 5 days later she sends me this and says she didnt know what a booksleeve was so she googled it and tried it out! So amazing!

I had a surprise in the post this morning which turned out to be a new sleeve @MummaBear had made for me after she saw I‘d been looking for recommendations! She said it is to remind me of home (and home is @MummaBear ❤️) and it‘s slightly bigger than my other ones so it can carry my big hard back books! Thank you so much @MummaBear and I love you! ❤️
