Fun and interesting premise, but so-so execution. The book wasn‘t as focused on the game that was at the center of the plot as I would have liked. It started strong, but the middle became more about the characters, and then the end and resolution of the game came too quickly. Not bad overall, but it wasn‘t as much fun as I‘d hoped it would be. 3⭐️

I was EXACTLY the target audience for this book - obsessed with The Westing Game as a kid, an appreciation for Poe references, spent my first decade of adulthood living in and around Boston - and I was so, so hooked. Tuesday Mooney is a character it would be easy to dislike but I loved her research brain and her relationships with Dex and Dorry. The Pryce puzzle itself is wonderfully twisty and any plot pacing hiccups are minor so 4 stars!

New library haul and just in time for my Thanksgiving break at school. I love my job & my students but I am due for some much needed R & R not to mention then hopefully we can get a better handle on this Whopping Cough outbreak that is going through our district.

Schlinkles I‘ve had Tuesday Mooney sitting on my shelf since it came out. I need to get around to reading it! 2w

Reserved in a recommendation from @Liberty and arrived at a very inopportune moment. I hope I have time to read it.

Brilliant, I loved it. A delightful caper; a grownup Westing Game. I absolutely adored it.

This book sounded so interesting and I read lots of positive reviews for it, so I was super stubborn and refused to bail on it when I should have. Usually I don't have a problem with bailing on books. I don't know why, but this one just didn't click with me, and I couldn't get into it.

Kate Racculia writes some fun, fantastic, and eccentric characters. I enjoyed them all but felt a personal kinship to Tuesday herself. This story reminded me a bit of a quirky IRL version of Ready Player One where people in the public are competing to finish a treasure hunt set up by a recently deceased millionaire (maybe billionaire, I forget). It's got a murder mystery vibe with some unexpected twists and turns. Highly recommend!

I have been hearing about this book for months now, so I gave in and picked up a copy when it came out. I read Bellweather Rhapsody, Racculia‘s previous novel, which feel a little short for me. The premise of this new book sounded really intriguing, but unfortunately this ended up falling a little flat for me also.

I enjoyed this ode to all things Poe. Lots of literary references and quirky characters that were interested. Despite the title, the theme of the book is about relationships. See my full review on my blog at http://www.thespineview.com/genre/fiction/tuesday-mooney-talk-to-ghosts-by-kate-...

This book was such a treat!! Thank you, @Liberty for putting this on my radar! It‘s been described as the Westing Game for adults with an Edgar Allan Poe theme, which is spot on. Having lived in Somerville, Boston, and the greater area for the last 15 years, the story was a delightful run through the city that I call home. Cute, light, and lots of funs, Bostonians in particular should go ahead and pick up a copy now.

TheSpineView I liked it too! 1mo

Sunday morning reading soundtrack #Readingsoundtrack

Bookwomble Van the Man 😊❤🎶❤ This album was my introduction to his music. He's one of the few songwriters who can move me to tears. His music has been the soundtrack to some important parts of my life. I feel happy just looking at your picture! Thank you 😊 2mo
Kimbono @Bookwomble I was so happy to purchase this album this week. I was at a record store and saw someone walking around with it and was SO JEALOUS because it was the only one available. I followed him to the register and I saw him tell the clerk he changed his mind. I snatched it right up. Made my day! I love his music. 2mo

Listening to this atmospheric book on my early rainy bus ride this morning. Alternating between print and audio, and I‘m fully invested in both iterations. Loving that I‘ll be able to keep listening at work. I was instantly hooked.

Didn't live up to the premise or my expectations, but not bad either. Would have liked a couple of supporting characters to have been further developed.

Happy, happy, happy pub day to Kate Racculia, and TUESDAY MOONEY TALKS TO GHOSTS! Kate loves THE WESTING GAME, and Agatha Christie, and cats. She is my Patronus. I loved TUESDAY MOONEY, which is like THE WESTING GAME for grown-ups, and is perfect for the Halloween season. And I am also such a big fan of her last novel, BELLWEATHER RHAPSODY, which is also a perfect read for Halloween season! KATE RACCULIA NOVELS FOR EVERYONE! 📚❤️📚
