14 read in November; bringing my total for the year so far to 132. Met my Goodreads goal of 125 during this month. Favorite was probably The Library of the Unwritten. One more month to go, let's see what numbers I end up with when 2019 fades away.

November wrap up! An ok month for me but not the best. Heart So Fierce was excellent as expected, and Tunnel of Bones was good. The others were mediocre to down-right disappointing.

My #NonfictionNovember contenders 🤓 some have been on my shelves pre-Litsy

Librarybelle The Monster of Florence is good! 5y
Hooked_on_books Monster and Five Days are both terrific. I have the Ward but haven‘t read it yet; I don‘t think you can miss with her. And I‘ve heard great things about Know My Name—I anxiously await my library hold! 5y
Cinfhen You want to try and buddy read Men @Hooked_on_books since our Friday Black was a flop!!! 5y
See All 27 Comments
Cinfhen I‘m looking forward to Monster @Librarybelle 5y
Hooked_on_books Yeah, I‘d be up for that. Maybe the week after next? I‘m quite backlogged on my library stack and haven‘t been able to read as much this week, as my MIL is in town. 5y
Cinfhen Sure @Hooked_on_books give me a heads up when u want to start and hopefully we‘ll have better luck 🤞🏼 5y
Hooked_on_books I shall! I‘ve read a bit of Friday Black but am taking it slow. I‘m finding it a bit uneven. I can see why you guys bailed. 5y
TorieStorieS I also really enjoyed 5y
SamAnne Loved Men We Reaped.
5y
Cinfhen Yay!!! Glad to be getting such positive feedback @TorieStorieS @SamAnne 5y
MicheleinPhilly Five Days is TOUGH but excellent. 5y
Blaire @MicheleinPhilly agree. Very glad I read it. I‘d say the same about men we reaped. 5y
alisiakae 🙌🏽🙌🏽 5y
MicheleinPhilly @Blaire I agree! I loved that one too! 5y
Cinfhen Yay!! Glad to know my shelves will not be disappointing me @Blaire @MicheleinPhilly @4thhouseontheleft 5y
alisiakae @Cinfhen I had a hard time choosing a reasonable number to read in a month, so my posted stack will probably grow and change as the month progresses! 🤣 5y
Cinfhen 5 seemed like a decent number and yes we always have the right to mix it up @4thhouseontheleft 5y
Reviewsbylola Memorial is so good but difficult to read. I can‘t read Jessamyn Ward again after 5y
britt_brooke Like @Reviewsbylola said, Five Days at Memorial is so good, but it‘s an incredibly difficult 500+ pages. 5y
vivastory Monster of Florence is pretty high on my list 5y
Cinfhen Poor JW really did a number on u @Reviewsbylola I‘ve heard 5 Days is dense @britt_brooke but really a necessary read!! Do you own Monster @vivastory I‘ll buddy read with you???? 5y
vivastory I'd definitely be interested in a buddy read of Monster! 5y
Cinfhen Can u start this week @vivastory ??? #NoPressure 😁😜 5y
vivastory I can! I should be finished with my current book by tomorrow night or Monday & then I'll start. I've been in the mood for a good true crime 👍 5y
Cinfhen Woohoo @vivastory I might start tomorrow but I‘ll keep you posted 🥰 5y

Better on the number of books but less pages. Reading more on @SerialReader and trying to read all the Christmas ones. Also enjoying graphic novels again. My current read is taking forever to finish I think I‘m just not that into it, so keep reading other shorter things instead. Well on track to meeting my Reading Challenge target though! 😊

November Stats
Total Books Read - 12
Total Pages Read - 3,612
Average Pages per Day - 120.4

I did a good job of clearing my current NetGalley titles. But I did a bad thing and requested more to make up for it. I bought books at the library. My #TBR is going nowhere good. Next year, I promise, is ALL about reading books I own or ones that are free. #ClearMountTBR

TheSpineView I made the same resolution at the beginning of 2018. I didn't even make it too the end of January. I just can't resist buying books. 6y

1. I plan to read mostly from La TBR, with a few rereads and library comics thrown in.
2. Not this year. I want to focus on revisions so I can finally share this most troublesome book with some beta readers.
3. It's time to dive into the holiday romances!!!!!!!!!!

#novembertbr

TrishB Got some good ones coming up 👍🏻 6y
EadieB @Trisha I know! I‘m looking forward to reading all of them! I‘ve read about 80,000 pages so I‘m trying to get to 100,000 by December 31. 6y
MinDea I'll Be Gone in the Dark and Circe are fantastic! I also plan on reading the 7 1/2 Deaths if Evelyn in November too! 6y
See All 41 Comments
EadieB @MinDea Cool! Did you get my email from yesterday? 6y
MinDea Yes I just replied! 6y
EadieB @MinDea Ok! I‘ll send a reply back after I read your email. 6y
EadieB @MinDea Just replied. 6y
MinDea Just got it! You should definitely read The Aviator's Wife. I loved it. 6y
EadieB @MinDea I know I would like it but when you own about 7,000 books it‘s hard to get to them all. I read the Paris Wife and the aviators‘ wife looks similar to that. Where do you live? 6y
MinDea I live in Seattle! Where are you? 6y
EadieB @MinDea I live in Perkasie PA. I give my books away when I finish with them so would you be interested to receive some? I‘ll have to check your lists and see if I have something you would like. (edited) 6y
MinDea Wow. That's so generous of you. Yes, I'd love that! 💙 6y
EadieB @MinDea I‘ll look through your TBR and see what I have. Is it up to date? When I find some books for you, I will post a picture and you can tell me which ones you would like. 6y
MinDea Sort of. 😆 I have 3 TBR lists (Litsy, Goodreads and Amazon). So between the three they might be. Feel free to email me too if that's easier! Thank you so much. 6y
EadieB @MinDea ok I‘ll check it out! 6y
EadieB @minDea have you ever read 6y
MinDea @EadieB I have not. Did you enjoy it? 6y
EadieB @minDea yes I did enjoy it because I have the 2nd and 3rd book. See if your library has Solomon Creed and then I can send you the others. I think you will like this series. Also I found the robber bride, alias grace, disgrace by j m Coetzee, and truly madly guilty by liane moriarty. Do you still want these? 6y
MinDea @EadieB the Solomon book sounds very interesting. I will see if I can find it. Yes I have been very interested in reading more Margaret Atwood (maybe a #AuthorAMonth!) for sure and the other ones are on my TBR! That's so many though. I couldn't take them all! Whatever you'd want to send to me I'd be more than happy with and very appreciative. 💙 6y
EadieB @MinDea I need to get rid of some books. I also just found mary Kubica‘s don‘t You Cry and every last lie. Also the first wife by Erica spindler. 6y
MinDea I just bought Don't you Cry at Powell's last month but I don't have the other 2. Do you buy all these books or do you work in this industry where you get books? 6y
EadieB @MinDea I buy most of my books at thrift stores and library sales. But the kubica books are signed by the author from her book signing I went too. The first wife is brand new and I had a credit at the drugstore and I used it on that book but my library has a copy. I think I‘ll get rid of the books that I can get at the library. I belong to paperbackswap and bookmooch and trade books. But I have over a thousand credits on those book sites. 6y
MinDea And you don't want to keep the signed books? 😱 I have not heard of those before. I'll have to look them up. Wow. That's crazy! You also read a lot of books each month. I am lucky to read 4-6 each month. I wish I could read more! 6y
MinDea I just saw you plan to read Bridge of Clay this month. I do too! I just went to see him and got my copy signed by him. The Book Thief is a favorite book of mine 6y
EadieB @MinDea I don‘t really care about signed books. I just bought them because I got the book she was speaking about from NetGalley so I didn‘t want to buy the new one. So I‘m going to stick these in a box and mail them to you. Send me your address by email. 6y
EadieB @MinDea I‘m waiting for it on hold from library. Did you ever read 6y
MinDea If I did it was a long time ago! But I don't think I did. I haven't read many of his books written under Straub 6y
MinDea I hope you get it from the library. It sounds really good. 6y
EadieB @MinDea I have a very old copy but it‘s still readable so I send that along too. 6y
MinDea 😱 oh my goodness! So many books. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! 6y
EadieB @MinDea Your welcome! 6y
EadieB @MinDea do you have a cassette player because I can send you an audio of the secret history by Donna tartt 6y
MinDea I don't have a cassette player. Thank you though! 6y
EadieB @mindea ok I thought I saw that in your wishlist. 6y
MinDea Ohhhh it might be but I must have added the wrong format. 6y
EadieB @MinDea No I think you had the book listed but I had the cassettes so I thought would just ask if you wanted them. I notice you ate getting a good response to the Author A Month. (edited) 6y
writerlibrarian You can go wrong with Sayers. Really. She's that good. 6y
EadieB @writerlibrarian Thanks! I look forward to reading her. 6y
EadieB @MinDea Mailed your package this morning. It will arrive Friday, November 9th. 6y
MinDea Oh my goodness. 😱 Thank you so much! 💙 6y
