I read the first ten volumes of Sandman this year, and I hadn‘t read many before I knew that I would have to reread these ones.
About the King of Dreams, Morpheus, and his siblings. There‘s several side characters that keep on reappearing and that‘s why I want to reread this some time in the future because I know I missed so much.

The Sandman audioplay is based on the DC comics/graphic novels of the same title. I‘m going so far as to say that I enjoyed the audioplay much more than the GNs, because the cast surrounding James McAvoy makes the story/stories really come to life for me.

Sandman is my all time favorite comic so I'm pretty all right with this. Apparently it's being released this summer?
So now we're getting this from Amazon and we're also getting the show on Netflix.
Its a good time to be a Sandman fan. 😁
One of my favorite graphic novels features Death and without his #mask he's unable to keep the world around him in balance.
Great read if you enjoy dark and gritty.

pickI started reading these in January 2012. It was alright, but also wasn't quite sure what the big deal was. I read the next few volumes here and there over the years always thinking I must be missing something. Then for some reason I picked up volume 6 this month and have suddenly been completely captivated by them. I just finished volume 10 today and am looping back to #1.

Unique fact: my husband and I met in Singapore on a blind date, a few months before both of us were to go to different countries (he to Illinois, me to the UK) for graduate school. He stayed on in the US (moved to California) for work and I returned to Singapore after school. So we had a couple of years of very long distance-relationship. But it all worked out. This December will be our eighth wedding anniversary! #augustphotochallenge

These tales are dark, twisty, violent, sad, redemptive, & everything in between, set off with perfect Gothic art. This edition is ideal for binge reading. Sublime!
The most delicious lunches also serve food for the imagination. Yum, Gaiman! 😍
