#page2screen I‘m a fan of the adaptation and hope they continue making more.
I may have stopped reading the books, but ill@never stop watching the movies 🤣 Hannah is way more likable in the movies! #imstillteamNorman
After freezing my butt off at a 5k this morning it‘s time to curl up with a blanket and a good book!
Continuing my post-hospital catch-up. Like the other one in this series I reviewed, I felt that the author‘s lack of real baking knowledge made Hannah‘s character unbelievable. She tries to pepper the book with baking facts and recipes but they are at best rudimentary and at worst downright incorrect.
Finished this easily on vacation. It has quite a few recipes I want to try. I just love Hannah‘s town and wish they would do more movies. It‘s so easy to picture their faces during the reading!
Of the Hannah mysteries, this one is ok, not one of my favorites.
Newlyweds Lisa and Herb look forward to a family reunion with their new families. The surprise reappearance of Herb‘s long lost uncle, Gus, is a happy - and painful - event. Unfortunately, Gus‘ resurfacing revives the past, and those old memories can result in murder.
Mike promises to investigate WITH Hannah 🙄, and Norman becomes 007 going undercover in Atlantic City. 😄
“Try adding raisins!” suggests the package. Ok, Chef Hines, I‘m going to add some sultanas and a shot of Goslings black seal. #oneup #joinin
No book, but cake. 😀
Do these filters make it look more hard core? #murdershebaked #hannahswensen #guiltypleasure

I‘m pushing it here, but this photo is of the carrot cake made at my favorite local cafe Twig & Sparrow.
Right now I‘d love to devour a slice with a flat white and a good book.🥕🍰

The titles of Joanne Fluke's Hannah Swenson Mysteries match well with some of the prompts in this challenge. I haven't read any of the books in the series but I do watch Murder She Baked, which is based on the series
I'm admittedly a big fan of the Murder, She Baked series by Joanne Fluke. It's my guilty pleasure. I collect them amidst the difficulty to get a copy of any of her works in Manila. Went as far as to promise to only read them if they're given as gifts or bought second hand. This is one of the lucky instances where I got to grab a copy from a used bookstore after a long, long while. YAY! Hope it's good! 😆
