Bk3 of August & #Rushathon #readathon is done. Finally!! When I dragged myself out of this mini slump, I ended up very much enjoying this book. It‘s Werewolf Satire,if that‘s even a subgenre & was wholly entertaining. With a depressed berserker werewolf teen, a werewolf Enchantress, an interfering Fire Elemental Princess, two drugged out musician werewolves, a cross dressing werewolf king to be,a huge feud & a whole lot of snark,it‘s a wild ride.👇
Climbing out of another slump, I seem to be in a roller coaster ride of reading one week then not reading the next! Ended up watching Wolf Pack on Paramount+(Sarah Michelle Gellar rules🫶)& felt like reading some werewolf fiction. Totally remembered I had this languishing on my #MountTBRShelvesOfDoom for years & went in search. Two chapters in & I‘m not hating it. Anyone here read this before?🐺 #Rushathon
#LittensDressedInBlood Today's prompt is Werewolves of London.
I used a different book in this series at the beginning of this month, but it fits so well (although, I guess now I could have chosen Blood and Chocolate). Kalix is a werewolf on the run from her Scottish werewolf clan, addicted to laudanum and quite wild. The book is funny and violent and weird- Millar's style is definitely not for everyone, but I love it.
I haven‘t left the house since Monday but a friend I‘ve had since elementary school brought me a big bag of reading goodies so I really don‘t even care. It has been maybe 15 years since I‘ve seen her and yet still...she knows me well!

I'm in the middle of reading this, but it's just taking me so long! I've been reading it on and off for 6 months and i'm on at 41% (chapter 100 though!)
Anyone else read this book and can encourage me?
