On Vacation, I started a couple of books but keep reaching for this one. Book 2 of The Infernal Devices. I really needed this vacation, was a stay at home and rest vacation.

Working through Clockwork Prince. Not as captivating as Clockwork Angel but I can't give in now. Doggo included as tax for not posting in such a long time.
July was a very slow reading month for me at only 3 books.
Clockwork Prince was a clear winner!

This series is lovely!
Listened on audio.
Ed Westwick narrates and does an AMAZING job!!! Highly recommend!
Trying to beat the storm and finish my book on tonight's #audiowalk 😅😅
Back into the land of Shadowhunters I go
There's a thunderstorm brewing outside and I may or may not have a pumpkin cinnamon candle burning (😜)
It's quite a relaxing Saturday afternoon 🙂
This series never fails to welcome me back in like a warm hug from an old friend. I'm especially partial to the Infernal Devices because 1) Will and 2) the lush Victorian setting.
This one has to be my favorite in this world so far.
Day 2 of #TarotTakeover
The 2nd in The Infernal Devices Trilogy and where the love triangle/chaos really ramps up.
@ErinSueMreads
Tessa/Jem/Will are at peak love triangle, so that trope is on full display in this book. Though the timeline is unrealistic, Clare mostly pulls it off. There‘s a much reduced emphasis on the automaton business, which I was glad for. The plot mostly focused on the further investigation into Mortmain and infighting politics of the Clave. Still loving the steampunk Victorian London setting and introduction of new characters like Gideon Lightwood.
Surprisingly, the Shadowhunters extended universe was not something I engaged with in my teens/early 20s when Clare‘s various series were were at their peak of popularity. I saw the movie, but that was about it. But @Saknicole told me I would like the Infernal Devices series, and boy was she right! Loved the steampunk-esque Victorian London setting, great character development, not too confusing fantasy world, and not annoying love triangle.
Waiting for my flight to Nashville while knitting my floofy Love Note Sweater and listening to Clockwork Prince. I‘m still really enjoying this series. Keeping my fingers cross that weather doesn‘t keep us more delayed in Seattle. It‘s pretty snowy here in Seattle. What irony to have the snow affect us here and not at home in AK. How did you travel go @Kimberlone ? #knitting #audiobook #audiostitching #airport
We are chained to this life by a chain of gold, and we dare not sever it for fear of what lies beyond the drop.
For if there is no one in the world who cares for you, do you really exist at all?
🵠This is book2 of The Infernal Devices Series, I'm starting today book 3.
ðŸµThis book made me cry like a little girl for hours, my daughters were so mad at me lol they say is crazy what I do reading 'THESE' books.
I'm so anxious to start book 3.💙
I enjoyed this second book in the Infernal Devices series. I connected with the characters & I particularly enjoyed reading Wil's perspective; my heart went out to him
I waited to learn more about Tessa's origins & whilst we were given more information, it was very limited & still left me with questions
This was my #bookspin for this month 😠the first time I've actually completed a bookspin book 😆 @TheAromaofBooks
Really enjoyed this book and my love of Will has grown after finding out why he acted the way he did in the first book. He pushed everyone away to try and protect them.
It was sort of sad to see the relationship grow between Tessa and Jem instead of Tessa and Will as you can see they both like each other.
Im definitely looking forward to the final book.

I know the Infernal Devices are more popular than the Mortal Instruments... but in my unpopular opinion... I completely disagree. The shadowhunter world is younger and developing in this series, which is not typically my cup of tea. I find it frustrating at times. Not to say it‘s not good because it is. I just personally am not enjoying it as much. Listening to it as an audiobook is much better than reading it physically tho... in my opinion.
I‘m so excited to finally get to the second book in this trilogy! I also can‘t tell you how ecstatic I was when I saw Jem on the cover. No spoilers for those of you who haven‘t read the first book, but â¤ï¸ â¤ï¸ â¤ï¸ â¤ï¸!!!!

Currently reading Clockwork Prince, 2nd book in the Infernal Devices series. Then I will move on to One By One. I have like all Ruth Ware's books so far! #books
1. Yeah not a orange and autumnal as I would like though ðŸ
2. No real favourite but autumn does put me in more of a baking mood, I love making carrot cakes
3. Hoping to finish up re-reading the rest of the infernal devices and am hoping to finally get to midnight sun.
Thanks for the tag @Sace

I need one!! 😰😱 I also need not to get sucked into a rewatch of Gilmore girls with so many unfinished tv shows and books on the go!!

Made it through another one! Still solidly enjoying these, though there are still a lot of issues. Excited to get to the conclusion! https://amysbookreviews.com/2020/06/20/i-got-bored-and-decided-to-binge-the-enti...
I could not put this book down. Time to do all the jobs that have been building up whilst I have been lost in this book. âââââ
FINALLY FINISHED IT! Used it to relieve stress from finals, which are this week and the next😩🔥
Well that didn't take long as I had thought! More proof this book was fantastic. Definitely a page Turner 📖☕ï¸
The is so much adventure and intrigue that to stop reading leaves you plagued with questions that even now remain unanswered and others answered have opened up more questions!?!?
It has been an amazing read. But if I don't find out more about Tessa's heritage soon I'm going to pop!

So, my dad enjoys taking pictures while I‘m not aware, but I have to say: I‘m not mad with this one😹
For some reason, it has actually been difficult for me to read during quarantine. With uni works + the occasional “don‘t wanna do anything†vibes, it‘s been a challenge. Not only that, I also have been finding lots of comfort in reading the Word and tend to sometimes only read such in the day. Let‘s see if I get back to it✨
This isn‘t my cat, but she hangs out at my patio every single day! This one‘s from yesterday✨
Lockdown reading day 4:
28th March, 2020
Not as good as 1st bk in the trilogy Clockwork Angel. Clockwork Prince literally had no plot, just some angsty love triangle between Jem, Tessa & Will. It felt more like opportunistic love, like Tessa was simply stringing the guys along, but then at 16 it's expected I guess, am not sure.

Since I just started this series, so this is the first book that came to mind. It will be a bit before I get to this one. I have several others in the series to read ahead of it.
Finished. Not sure I like the storyline taking this route but I‘m reading the last in the series now so we will see. Still a great read but ðŸ§ðŸ“–🙌ðŸ½
Starting the second book now 😋📖
Not much action but still a good read and nice to carry on Tessa‘s story, also good to see more of Magnus Bane. Looking forward to the third instalment.
Found myself with a spare hour so thought I‘d continue Tessa‘s story! Gotta love ebooks that you can just download so quickly!

I chose this book because it's the continuation of the first book in the infernal devices series, clockwork angel.
After the events in clockwork angel, Tessa has found her real home; in the downworld as a shadowhunter. But Magister, obviously won't let that happen. Magister wants Tessa's power for his own benefit, and nothing's gonna stop him unless Tessa and her two friends help her.
I‘m really enjoying the Infernal devices! I am reading in the authors suggestion lineup. I finished city of glass then started this series. I was worried I‘d have trouble latching on since I love TMI characters so much, but I love these characters just as much! (And these covers are so gorgeous!) #currentread #cassandraclare #clockworkprince
I should be getting ready to go out but ... book and bed!! ðŸ¸ðŸ“š
