1. The movie adaptation is good too. Chocolat is another favorite.
2. LINDOR Truffles
3. Reese‘s Peanut Butter Cups

This book was really good! Gritty 90s YA about werewolves, the protagonist was so cocky and confident I loved her. I loved the whole pack and mythos the author came up with. I Can‘t wait to read Silver Kiss, will love seeing what this author can do with Vamps #12Challenge
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Vivian made me remember we all have a she wolf in us and it needs to be a living thing 🖤
He was human, for Moon's sake- half a person.
DON'T BELIEVE THE MOVIE!!!! The book is something else entirely. Heart wrenching and beautiful. What Loup Garou should be. Thought provoking and emotional. Never saw the end coming, but it was most fitting!
I've read this book in autumn. Loved the movies based by this book and watched it so many times. So I really wanted to read this book and don't know why I didn't read it before. It was a great book, I loved it and was sucked in the story immediately. It was so different from the movie that movie disappointed me. Vivian was a badass heroine, she was brave strong and amazing. This is going to my favourite shelf.

“He was raw and sharp and rich and throbbing with life. He was sweet blood after a long hunt. How could she have mistaken Aiden's kisses for this? They had been delicious and smooth like the brief comfort of chocolate, but they had never been enough.”

Lots of wonderful reads in 2018!
Hopefully May will continue the sentiment.
What books are you most anticipating for May??📚

First to come to mind for #transformation , one I had to read for my YA Lit class in grad school. Wolf shifting, and I think probably one of the first shifter romances marketed to teens (well before the Twilight craze). #150PnPCoverParty
Today is stressful. This week is stressful. I have an eye appointment today [a routine check up to maintain my eye health (long and complicated history- healthy now!), but my meds have changed since I last saw my specialist] and a physical therapist appointment on Thursday as part of a lawsuit. Lots of travel and downtime for reading, but these are things I would rather not add in to my holidays.
Great book! This was one of the first books i became obsessed with as a kid. I highly recommend!
Finished my second read of the #24in48 Readathon! This one was a reread that I remembered enjoying years ago. I had forgotten a lot, so it was nice to rediscover the story.
I am SUPER bad at photo challenges but this one is calling to me so I'll give it a whirl!
Tagged under one of my favorite books from the 90s.
#setinyrcity Without Remorse is the only book I have that's listed as taking place in Baltimore. This is the hubby's book and I haven't read it so I don't know too much about it. Blood and Chocolate is one of mine, and is a werewolf story set in Maryland. #readjanuary @RealLifeReading
#octphotochallenge Day 29 I think right now I'm more into werewolves. When I was younger it was vampires. It may change again. 😂#vampireorwerewolf
I would give this book four stars. This book will not be everyones cup of tea but I enjoyed reading it. I like the title of the book becuase it fits the theme of the book. Vivian the main character is trying to find where she belongs in the world. She feels like she does not belong in either the human world or with her pack. She's also turn between two guys. Aidan the sensitive writer or the new pack learder Gabriel. I love Gabriel😍.

I think most of my book covers are lovely, but one or too could probably be considered ugly... This cover for Blood and Chocolate among them.
A red foil title, wolf, and splodges I can only assume are meant to be blood? On top of a shady scene of a girl running through the woods.
Wow 🌕
Day 25 of 31: Oldie But Goodie. Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klaus. Absolutely fabulous and I've always wanted more!

Reread this for the first time in years and I'm actually so surprised I still love it. One of my fave paranormals. It offers a very different take on the paranormal creature/human love interest trope.
