The tagged book made it to the final round. I think I‘m slightly more obsessed with it than Throne of Secrets. I‘m interested to see what it‘s going to go up against from December!

This House is haunted was my favorite October book. However, it wasn‘t better than Fall of Ruin and Wrath. And Fall of Ruin and Wrath wasn‘t better than A Tempest of Tea.
Excited to see what it comes up against.

October 30th #WickedWhispets Blood, this book is Blood and Tea Book 1 of series @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
#HauntedShelf #FrightClub #BookScavengerHunt Hot Drink ☕️ @PuddleJumper @Jadams89
Another GenX fave, ragtag teen criminals feat vampires. The audiobook includes an interview of the author by her husband, which is silly and fun but also informative.
This was a March read.

I've had this one as an eBook far too long, and I should really read it soon. Who doesn't love a warm cup of tea?
The tagged book was definitely my favorite read of the month!! #2024bookbracket
OMG! I don‘t know why but I LOVED this book. I was immediately hooked and intrigued. Couldn‘t put it down! I‘m so glad I saw someone on Litsy recommend this (I don‘t remember who)!
There is tea, vampires, criminals, a crew and heist. So good! And I‘m so glad it‘s a series and there will be more books!!
Ahh read this!
It‘s been a couple of hours since I finished it and I am now able to string together a coherent sentence about this book (because MY GOD WHAT AN ENDING). That sentence is: Hafsah Faizal has done it again! I loved this book just as much as her previous (something I thought near-impossible) and the way every strand of the story wove together was masterful. Loved the characters, the world and the story and can‘t wait for the next in this series!
5⭐️
Bk21 of my never ending #BookMail is another beautiful edition. In White Roaring,Arthie Casimir runs a tea shop by day, at night it‘s an illegal blood house, catering to the vampires. But when it‘s threatened, she strikes a deal with an adversary to save it.So she brings together the city‘s most skilled outcasts to infiltrate the Vampire society called the Atherium. But not everyone is on her side & she finds herself in the middle of a conspiracy.
A fascinating blend of plot, atmosphere, strong characters and rapier-like writing.
Was 50 outside!
The book was slow with mystery abound between the 5 characters. wasn‘t blown away, thou did enjoy it. Love how Faizal writes her women. Nice vampire culture. Arthie is an orphan immigrant who finds a way to fight against the system through a heist. The heist didn‘t feel much like one, and while I love revelations, they didn‘t fit in the big picture. Until the ending where I threw up hands. Final 50 pages is where it all came to 🫖
These books were on my radar to read especially “A Tempest of Tea”. I was pleasantly surprised when Macmillan Publishing sent me a copy of these audiobooks.
Tomorrow, I will start listening to “A Tempest of Tea” by Hafsah Faisal. Thank you to @macmillan.audio for these #gifted audiobooks!

YA + vampires + heist
I'm a sucker for a heist story.
Orphan Arthie turns her respectable tea house into a "speakeasy" for vampires at night. When her enterprise is threatened, she needs to put together a crew to steal an important book from under the current ruler's nose.
Liked the world-building and this is different from the usual "chosen one" YA stories. Diverse characters.
Low pick.
