I enjoyed this book. I finally finished it. Loved the characters and the continuous story in the series. I rated the book a 4 out of 5 stars.

What a freaking roller coaster of a book .. and that ending .. as if!!! .. and on that note .. Book 3 is done .. now I wait impatiently for the release of book 4 .. ugh probably have to wait until 2026 sometime 🙄🥺 .. lord please let her finish the final 2 books of the series because I HAVE to know what happens!! 😫🫣📚🐲🐉🧝🏻♀️🧝🏼♂️
I wasn't going to continue reading this series, but when it popped up as a skip-the-line read in Libby while all my other holds were 4 weeks out, I figured why not. I appreciated that this book leans more into the fantasy than the romance with the quest to find Andarna's kin and a way to defeat the venin. I also didn't think the cliffhanger ending was as much of a twist as some of my friends ➡️
So exciting! Great to be back in this world. It was interesting that this new part of the series was still set in the same academic year as the previous one. Everything that happened before, was only a few weeks ago. Most series in a school setting have all the events happening and finishing in one year, so this was actually a nice change!
Loved Andarna, loved the squad, loved how Violet grew. I want to read all the other parts right now, please!
Fourth Wing will always be my favorite in the series. Onyx Storm was a solid 4 stars for me. There are a lot of characters to keep straight, and a couple times I got confused as to who was who. There is a lot of political machinations going on, and the casual way that people were being killed as pawns in a sick game was upsetting. My favorite part of the book is when Violet interacts with her dragons. I love hearing their conversations.
(Book 4 of 2025) Just like the other two books in the series Yarros has a way of keeping you engaged. Sometimes in series one or more books can fall flat or miss the mark but not this one. I love how the questions I had in the previous books get answered but LADY don't leave me with more questions! I will say the cliffhanger on this one left me messed up for a few weeks.

“ Shadows explode around us, immediately devouring every speck of light in a sea of endless black I instantly recognize as home“
3✨ This was not my favorite in the series, but I like that this seemed to be a build up book for what will be coming next. There was a lot of shocking moments where my mouth literally dropped! The cliffhanger ending wasn‘t as bad for me and I‘ll look forward to the next story in the maybe distant future.
Finally finished and what was that ending ? I enjoyed the book for the most part
When my oldest is at a later ballet class, it‘s dinner in the car and a book. (She eats while I drive 20 minutes to her class) Today she finds out if she gets to be the Harry Potter in the dance. 🤩 🩰
I really struggled with this one. I felt it dragged and I lost interest. And then half way through someone told me that she is now writing book 4 and 5 of the series. I won‘t be reading on. Sadly, not for me.
The third installment in the Fourth Wing series.
Melodramatic ✨ Long ✨ Voyage
I don‘t understand why I keep reading this series, and I hate Violet and Xaden as a couple.
amazing book 😍 I may give a proper review for the series at a later date.
Pretending it‘s the weekend
In my reading era, especially with these books. I love the new decoration for my shelf & my mini Andarna. #inmydragonera #onyxstorm #bravethedark #dragonrider #fantasy #romance #shelfie 💙🥰🐉
Taking a Diet Coke break
It took over a month to read the chapters on the final battle, this second time around. I knew where it was going, and I could only handle one chapter at a time. I still loved it. I have a better handle on what happened at the end, but of course, I still have a million questions I probably won‘t have answers to until the 5th book comes out. Two. More. Years. (to the 4th book) I‘m going to need a nap.

Just finished. I rushed to Reddit to try to figure out what exactly I just read. Now I wait 18 months+ for the next chapter lol. I was not a fantasy reader and then started working a little at the library - my new co-workers were eating this up! I had to join and damn, I‘m enjoying the sauce. The hype around this book has been palpable.
It‘s 5 pm on Ontario‘s election night. Some might say I‘m self medicating. They‘d be right. Despite making idiotic campaign promises & never following up on them. Selling off green belt land to cronies, slashing health care and education budgets, spending bazillions of tax payer money to break contracts, negotiate deals with foreign investors and driving the province into a hole people will still vote for him because they are ignorant and selfish

If you haven‘t started the series I would just wait. I‘m not sure it‘s worth starting. This was basically the same plot as the 2nd book. I‘ll probably read the fourth but I am really glad I got this from the library and didn‘t pay for it. It should have stayed a trilogy but money talks so we get this nonsense instead of a proper, plot driving book.
More dragons, less romance, fantastic action; I enjoyed it much more than Fourth Wing. I liked the device she used in the last part of the book allowing us to see the battle through different eyes, each in a separate short chapter. The cliffhanger ending clearly means there‘s another book coming.
I listened to the graphic audio of the first two in this series. Reading this feels haaard. So many names. Anyone else feel this? But - I want to know what happens so I‘ll try to keep at it. 🐉
Wowza! It took me the fist 1/4 of the book to remember what happened in book 3, and I‘m not entirely sure what happened at the end of this one, but I enjoyed the ride. Wish book 4 was available now!
Slow in the beginning and very chaotic in the end.
Made me cry and question myself way to often.
It was a little too confusing at some point but the cliffhanger ufff.
Reminded me a little of „Hangover“, waking up at 3 am, knowing nothing about what happened and being married, but the husband is missing woohhhh way to go
.
Now we all have to wait for at least a year to know what happens next 🥹
🐉
Finally starting this. Kind of wish I‘d reread the previous 2, but I ended up finding a recap video on YouTube
Omg… I knew there would be a cliffhanger but holy moly, way to rip my heart out! A great installment of the series and now I have to wait and wait and wait…
It‘s a mild pick for me. This installment makes it way too obvious that she‘s stretching a trilogy to five books. It started slow but got going midway through, when it finally became hard to put down. The ending was a total mess though, I had to google it to figure out what on earth was actually going on, and I‘m honestly still confused!
This book had a slow start but tore me apart by the end 😭❤️ Knowing Rebecca isn‘t going to start writing the next book until ATLEAST September (probably even later) is going to torture me 🙄🤣 I guess I‘ll just have to go another reread when the time comes 📚
Getting in a little self care/reading on my birthday
I wore my fourth wing sweatshirt to Starbucks…..
Well, damn. I knew there would be a cliff hanger at the end, but I‘m still upset about it! I‘m really enjoying this series and already impatient for the rest…. And have so many questions!!
“I know exactly who and what you are, Violet Sorrengail.” -Tairn 🖤🐉
Who she is = a badass who deals with pain on a daily, willing to stand by her man, be worthy of her dragons and save the whole continent in the process.
This series lives rent free in my heart now!

I mean, it‘s not like there was any other choice for this month…🐉 (Although House of Deceit is 2nd!)
Finished the third book in the series today. I enjoyed the character development. Main theme is repeated quite often throughout the book and I anticipated the cliff hanger ending from the moment I started chapter one. I will continue to read the series, but was a little disappointed with this one. Hoping book 4 is better!
“To the ones who don‘t run with the popular crowd, the ones who get caught reading under their desks, the ones who feel like they never get invited, included, or represented. Get your leathers. We have dragons to ride.”

This was overall a fun action packed continuation of the story. I just hate the cliffhanger ending! 3.5⭐️
