marleed My stars are subjective even to me. I read a pile of books this year and was just looking over my 5 star assigned reads. In one of them, I couldn‘t remember the details at all (thankfully, I jot down a few notes as a refresher). But I thought should it stay a 5 star for me when all I remember was that I loved it at the time? I want my 5 stars to stay with me forever! 4y

I‘ve been dealing with lots of Excel spreadsheet at work in the past few months, and I feel that my eyesight has gotten worse. My eyes also get tired when I read for an hour or so.

I went to see an optician today, and it‘s confirmed: it‘s PRESBYOPIA! ðŸ˜¤ I must now wear reading glasses for better focus ðŸ¤“

PerksOfBeingABookworm If you can, get some with a blue light filter! The blue light from computers, phones, tv, and any type of screen all strain our eyes. It also effects melatonin production, so it can make it difficult to fall asleep. I‘m getting new glasses next month specifically for the blue light filter. My grandma has a degenerative eye disease (that is genetic) and blue light can exacerbate the problem. 5y
