This is a cute paranormal rom-com about a vampire who has been asleep for two centuries. When he awakens he decides to share his Chicago apartment with a roommate to teach him about the modern world. It made for some awkward and funny moments. Characters and plot was good, but felt the ending was a bit rushed and was not as seamless as the rest of the story. 3.5 ⭐️

Lisbon is hungry & dinner isn't ready. Several animals offer part of their dinner to her, but she refuses. The illustrations are fantastic! Such detail & saturation of color brought the pages to life right before your eyes. A wonderful picture book for children.

While counting these books for #BBRC, I will be increasing my target. (They're so easy I feel guilty)

This book made me laugh & cry. The Watson family is fictional, w/ the characters based on the author's family. 2 passages struck me hard, the one above from the epilogue, & while encouraging his little brother after the bombing in Birmingham to "keep on stepping", Byron explains that although the world is not perfect, he has to keep moving on. The effect of the bombing on Kenny I know I've felt w/ what's going on in the world. #bfcr2 #justbookit

This is actually a Rylee Adams novella that introduces Rylee and picks up Lark's story after the end of Windburn. 19, Rylee will prove to be a spitfire and definitely ranks with Lark in pure grit and badassery. I'm going to enjoy reading her story.

*sigh* So, so good! I'm going to miss all these characters. I can't even talk about my feelings specifically, because it might lead to too many spoilers. I'll just say that I'm satisfied with how it concluded.
I just saw on Goodreads that there might be a Ronan-centred trilogy in the works?! I'm all in for that. I think I would miss him most if it was the final end. #RavenCycle #Book4
