⭐️⭐️⭐️
I didn't like this one as much as some of the other CSI books. I enjoyed Warrick and Greg's multiple cases. The rest of the gang's story was less fun.

I really liked this one. Poppy felt it could have benefited from an evil mailman or a bouncy ball heist, but she's notoriously hard to please.

Ruthiella My dog says “evil mailman” is a tautology. They are all evil in her estimation. 🐶 I‘m not sure if she‘s using tautology correctly, but she didn‘t go to high school, much less college. 6mo
Traci1 @Ruthiella haha! Pops says she sounds very bright, and she definitely agrees about mailmen (also FedEx and UPS drivers - keep in mind she calls them ups, like a plural of the direction rather than U.P.S., so idk how much credence to give that). 😊 6mo

You can‘t really see it but the dice have little skulls in them! Makes them perfect for #castthedie

I rolled a 0 which can be 10 or 0 so there are 3 possible choices for everyone.

Roll 1 = 1 or 11

Roll 2 = 4

You can read all 3 or 1 or 2, it is entirely up to you! Happy reading!

Roary47 Really cool dice! 😍 7mo

Catsandbooks Those dice are so cool! And I got my lucky book, 4! 7mo
julieclair I love those dice! They don‘t happen to be newly acquired, do they? Perhaps just for this event? 😉👻 7mo
willaful @julieclair Shame on you! Puddlejumper would never! 😂 7mo
julieclair @willaful I‘m sure you‘re right! I don‘t know how an idea like that would have gotten into my head. 😉😆 7mo
PuddleJumper @julieclair @willaful I absolutely did not take advantage of a 4 for 3 sale and buy 4 new sets of dice .... 7mo
julieclair @PuddleJumper I‘m sure @willaful joins me in congratulating you on your restraint! 7mo
willaful 👏👏👏 7mo
Read-y_Picker Found it! I remember those gorgeous dice after all though I hadn't taken note of the numbers. Happy reading!

Managed to finish one non-audio book this week. And it was a great one (for what it is). Collins is really good at these TV tie-ins. He gets the characters right, and it reads like an episode.

Talk about coincidence. I'm reading this during the day and my ebook copy of Under the Whispering Door (a book that could hardly be more different from this one), and last night the just published UtWD mentioned Kübler-Ross. Today, she's in this 20 year old book. Weird.

julesG It's strange how these things happen sometimes. I read an article that mentioned Kübler-Ross a few days before I read UtWD. 3y
Soubhiville I‘m reading Whispering Door right now and that immediately caught my eye! Funny how these things happen sometimes! 3y

Reads like an early episode of the show. It was completely predictable - the whodunit part being obvious from the beginning - but fast paced and entertaining.

AkashaVampie They are books??? I didn't know that. I am currently on the end of the first season of the show. 3y
Traci1 @AkashaVampie I think there are like 18 of them. Some of them are available to borrow on hoopla. There are also graphic novels. 🙂 3y
AkashaVampie @Traci1 I will have to check Scribd to see if they have any. Thanks sweetie. 3y

I feel like I spend half my life waiting in parked cars. Good thing I always have a book with me. 😁

PathfinderNicole I love that bookmark! 3y
Trashcanman What's the other half doing? 3y
Traci1 @Trashcanman hmmm. Probably driving young people to things, sleeping, and complaining about lower back pain. 🙃 3y

Trashcanman @Traci1 I hope your back is feeling good today. 🤗 3y
Traci1 @Trashcanman haha it's actually not too bad but I'm feeling the need to complain about it anyway since I'm not currently sleeping, driving, or waiting on anyone. 😄 3y
Trashcanman @Traci1 🤣🤣 I'll hear you complain if you ever feel the need. 3y

I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book, but then again I have a sick sense of humour and find true crime fascinating. I also work in the prison system so I understand the authors dark sense of humour and her “female in a male dominated job” life. Her style of writing was informative but not condescending making it easy to read and understand.
