Has anyone made the mistake of writing down their tbr pile sss ? I did and there‘s so many books I want to read but I keep getting other books and I read some and get more books… well the total is 358 after my week in Portlands bookstores ( this does not include books on my kindle or books that are in a series that I haven‘t purchased yet) 🤦🏼♀️ idk if I should laugh or cry 🤣🤣🤣📚

In this mystery/fantasy hybrid, Greta Helsing is a physician to supernatural creatures, who are suddenly being targeted by a mysterious group. I enjoyed it but am disappointed that it barely passes the Bechdel test. I would have liked to have seen more of the very few female characters. #ReadYourEbooks
I really liked the viewpoint of the main character. As a Malaysian-American, Jess straddles the line of both cultures. It's an element that comes into play multiple times throughout the story. I loved learning about the spirits and the clash between religions. The only thing that grated on me was Jess' naivete. Overall, a fast-paced read full of pissed off spirits.
Great author choice for this month's #queerbc @PuddleJumper
This one was much better than the first one. The ending still left something to be desired but UGH I love a fake-dating plotline.

It's a paranormal romance series that follows a friend group in a small town called Mystic Bayou. Well more like chosen family by the end. It is a sweet connection and none of them are the bad boy types. They are a bit spicy though. It's a series of 8 books each following a different couple getting together and bonding with everyone while they all work to help fix the town's troubles. (Continued in comments)
