My husband read The Code Breaker & loved it. Of course for me it‘s a #TBR
The graphic novel of Hilma of Klint is wonderful!

#AutumnPlease #Day14 #NatChessDay I read this one years ago, in the 90s I think. It‘s about a legendary chess set presented to Emperor Charlemagne by eight Moors, made of of silver & gold & studded with rubies, emeralds, diamonds & sapphires. #Scarathlon #SpookyGhostClub 6pts
#ScarathlonPhotoChallenge #Day14 #Monster An old photo of mine(I can‘t find my copy anywhere!)but still one of my favourite books about a monster. Next to Frankenstein of course. #Scarathlon #SpookyGhostClub 6pts

#WhatSongEvokesAGoodMemory
When I hear Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel I remember back when the song came out and played often on the radio. My mother ran a delivery service and I traveled with her at night on runs. This song ALWAYS came on and we would sing along. Then we would get Arby's as a late-night snack and head home to our beds.
#ScarathlonDailyPrompts #Day14 #Clue One of the first real detectives was Sherlock Holmes. With his deerstalker hat & pipe he could find any clue no matter how small. #Scarathlon #TeamSlaughter 6pts
#OminousOctober #Day14 #Mystery For this prompt, only Dame Agatha will do! This is one of my favourite of her novels in a beautiful edition. Very twisty mystery! #Scarathlon #TeamSlaughter 6pts
