Amiable 33/80. This was a fun one! A League of Their Own and Apollo 13 are two of my all-time favorite movies. From this list, also loved Lincoln, Argo, Good Morning Vietnam … and Men in Black, of course! (edited) 7mo

dabbe @Amiable I always showed my students APOLLO 13 and STAR WARS when teaching them the Hero's Quest, one NF, one fiction. Then they had to write an essay explaining to me how they were the EXACT same movie. One of the best assignments I ever did! A-13 is in my top 5 faves of ALL time. Amiable @dabbe Every time I watch A-13, I am on the edge of my seat in tears during the blackout period. My husband says, “you‘ve seen this a million times — and it‘s a real historical event! You know how it ends!” And I‘m like, but THIS time they may not make it !! 😄 Love that movie so much. (edited) 7mo
TheAromaofBooks National Treasure is a family fave - we watch it almost every year haha I'm also a sucker for Live Free or Die Hard, my favorite of the franchise, I think. 7mo

CogsOfEncouragement 28 this time. I hope to watch American Fiction as a family today. My favs off the list are Hidden Figures (I listened to the audiobook after watching this and LOVED it), The Heights (make sure you watch the scene after the credits), A League of Their Own, and The Sandlot. 7mo
