julesG Thanks for the tag! Lactose intolerance is a bummer. But there are lactose free or even vegan ice-cream sorts available. Maybe you can find a new favourite. 4y

BarbaraTheBibliophage These are fun! I made one ages ago, so I‘ll have to go hunting for it. We have some commonalities. I‘m part Norwegian on my dad‘s side. 2nd great grandmother came over on the first ship to America from Norway in 1825. The descendants are called The Sloopers. I can trace that branch back to the 1100s, thanks to work from my great aunt (all done offline). And, I had a cat called Midnight many years ago. She was an odd character. 😎 4y

Texreader @BarbaraTheBibliophage I did all my genealogy the good Old fashioned way too in courthouses, cemeteries, and strangers‘ living rooms! My brother-in-law in Norway was a librarian for many years and was able to borrow records books from around the country going back centuries and he‘d translate them for me. So I‘ve been fortunate to go back quite far in Norway. But just names and dates aren‘t as fun. I love the stories when I can get to them! 4y

GingerAntics @Texreader Most cheese that has been aged for a year or more has lost all of its lactose, so you still get cheese, just really good cheese. 4y

Texreader @Curly_Caffeinated_Reader I had such severe cat allergies—they just appeared when I was about 12 even though I‘d already had many cats as my best friends. In my 20s we got a plague of mice and we were told the only sure way to keep them away was to get an inside cat. After some miserable time, I finally got over it thank heavens! I love cats! If I‘m around strange cats for too long, sometimes I still get a reaction. Sure hope the best for you! 4y
