Audio cooking in my apron I got during a round of #cbbc! I was going to audio bake but I ended up with a helper for the cake :)

My friend saw this at a library sale and read and loved it years ago. She surprised me with it today just bc she thought I‘d like it :)

I got kicked in the teeth with some sinus respiratory combo at 11p Monday night 😂 Wes usually gets a half hour of books a night but I could only breathe through one until tonight. So every night he‘s been “reading” to me to make me feel better ❤️

This series is so good! I didn‘t even figure out the twist. Highly recommend.

Another fantastic installment that I stayed up way too late for! At the point I hit 79% I was like well- we‘re going for it.😂

1- not unusual here but I regularly get a hard time for my vocabulary 😂 I once argued with my supervisor about the correct use of tumultuous 🤷‍♀️

Holy cow was this good! I stayed up past 11 with a migraine to finish it 😂 Spunky, self saving heroine, hot guys, the works. 5⭐️

I apparently finished exactly ONE book in March, so I‘m stealing storm of swords which I finished in early April. #readingbracket2024 @CSeydel

This was absolutely zany and not at all what I thought I was getting. It read really fast for the length, but could easily have been shortened. Very formulaic, but engaging. Not bad. #lmpbc

This was super cute, fun, and fast! Been in a bit of a slump and this was a good palate cleaner.

This came highly suggested in a Google search. While I‘ve reconnected with my faith, That wasn‘t the draw. Just trying to learn to be a more present, less anxious and triggered mom. Just out here trying to break generational trauma- no easy task. This was honestly only ok. Pretty mediocre as parenting books go.

I loved these books as a kid and have been trying to find them for Wes. Apparently my set was not ruined, it was just given to my sister. Anyway- I‘m 9 books short of the full 28 now!

March is national reading month so we did a book swap at work :) I could have also grabbed the new Emily Henry but I was a dolt and thought I already read it 😂

And of course I couldn‘t pass this up for $3! We‘ve read through his Cars 5 minute stories book too many times- mama needs new material 😂

Was able to score 21 of the 38 from a thrift shop while on home visits today. Sadly my childhood faves: rainbow and thunder/lightning aren‘t here and my set was ruined in my parents basement. These copies are in perfect condition, I don‘t think they‘ve ever been read. I can‘t wait to share them with Wes!

1- No? My mom has intermittently claimed that my middle name- Marie was for her bff at the time 🤷‍♀️
2- I will straight binge any Elizabeth 1 historical fiction. I find her fascinating.

It‘s been a two cups of cocoa kind of day. Catching up on 2 chapters bc I forgot some reason felt the need to watch the state of the union last night. #readingwesteros

Saw this recommended a bunch. Engaging and pretty solid.

Well last year established how TERRIBLE I am at editing it so I bring you #readingbracket2024 paper and pen edition 😂have to think about who wins the Jan/feb match up.

Swamped in paperwork for my telework day. Have GoT running in the background and my Winter is Coming sweatshirt on.

Really hoping that as we go through #readingwesteros that Nymeria comes back in the books.
