pickBk1 of November is(finally)done! That was another fabulous Sci-fi novel from Gibson, on par with Neuromancer for sure. He has a knack for eerily prophetic stories, mostly set in the not so distant future. Set in two times, 2032 I believe & around 70yrs later, it‘s full of tech that‘s not a huge stretch from what we have today. Lizpixie @TheSpineView thanks lovely! It‘s a deeper yellow than my library , it brightens the kitchen up wonderfully which is great coz it‘s so small. We‘re painting the adjoining lounge/dining room next in apple green & dove grey🍏🕊️ 2y

Lizpixie @CarolynM thanks sweetie💛 it‘s definitely an improvement on the old kitchen, better setup with underbench oven & gas cooktop & builtin pantry. Once I get the new curtains & coffee/tea corner setup it‘ll be fabulous. Plus I‘m adding one of those indoor herb gardens for my cooking🌱Can‘t wait🥘🥗 2y

Fair warning, the books main plot is pretty much the same but it diverges a great deal with characters & other things not in the series(so far at least).But it‘s actually better I think. AgencyCarolynM That sounds good🙂 I much prefer gas for the cooktop too. And I love cooking with fresh herbs - we have a herb garden (and tomatoes) just outside the kitchen door. 2y
Lizpixie @CarolynM so did I! I have two old stone washtubs I use for herbs & a veggie garden, but when I had a major flare then Covid on top it all died. I‘m hoping to restart at least the herbs outside, get my fruit trees looking better & some tommies in pots on the verandah for now. Once the house has had a full spring clean we‘ll be starting on the yard again. God, I hope I didn‘t just jinx it!🤞🤞🤞🤞 2y
