Bk4 of March is done! Took me awhile to start reading, not the book, just a lot going on right now. But when I did read it, it was worth the effort. Bk6 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. It‘s also the 2nd for #JoyousJanuary #readathon & my #Bookspin for January. Yay! Finally finished another book, my stats for Jan are awful so far. Though most were over 500pgs. I loved this the 1st time I read it & this time was no different. Bk4 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done. Finally! Haven‘t had time to read with the cleaning but I got there in the end.Fantastic space opera,the start of a new series it‘s full of beautiful imagery & space facts. There‘s a section that talks about the SuperMassiveBlackHole at the centre of the Milky Way that was brilliant. The characters & the story were both well written & interesting. Bk3 of January 2022 & #JumpStart2022 is done! I first started this before Xmas but wasn‘t in the mood for it, picked it back up last night & flew through it today. Bit late but Bk10 & my final book of November was the 2nd book in The Divide series and it was fantastic! Read as an ebook from Kobo, it continues the story of the Sentinels, a band of disgraced soldiers set to watch the black at the edge of the universe.After being abandoned they survive only to face the rot at the heart of the empire. Bk8 of November & Bk1 of #20in4 #readathon is done! I actually read this before but it was more skim read at the time coz brainfog meant I didn‘t grasp the science well, and this is full of it. As well as being one of the best heist novels I‘ve read! Is #SpaceHeist a genre? It bloody should be. Bk2 of July is done. I very much enjoyed this SF which has been described as a feminist cowboy space opera, which sums it up pretty nicely I think. Angel & her band of mercenaries take on a job for Rosie, owner of Monks Bar on Persephone, a small backwater planet owned by Serrano-Orlov Corp.
