I am so glad there wasn't a thing on my agenda today except to finish this book! I have to admit, at just shy of the halfway point, I was really wondering why there was such love for this book. Didn't take much longer to find out! There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said except, if you're thinking of reading it--do it!!

If it didn't have the ending it did, it would've been a so-so read. Space exploration and NASA just don't do it for me, so my attention kept wondering. But I did love that ending.

I love these quiet stolen reading hours of early Sunday mornings.

The story of friendship will stay with me because it was that good. But the writing was off. I didn't care for the dual timeline because the present parts were boring and flat and felt like they were written by someone else. The ending dragged and I just couldn't wait for it to be over. So disappointing.
