Started the week off with the chunkster from Joe Hill- loved it ♥️
Little departure via a murder mystery in Liverpool which I enjoyed. Set in the 1970s when you were still putting 2p‘s in public phones!
Onto the next chunkster with The Rose Field! About 100 pages in and just remembering all the characters and back story.

Two Nights- my daughter went to Lisbon and brought me a book mark with Lisbon on, so I had to read a book set in Lisbon. An ok thriller.
Currently reading Culpability- more post Gladstone‘s influence!
pickAbsolutely loved this. Yes, it was like Salems Lot fan fiction- but worked for me.
I am enjoying going through this authors back catalogue.

Loved The Parallel Path
Not long started Nightshade.
pickWhat The Salt Path tried to be. But true and wonderfully written. I don‘t really like memoirs, but love this author‘s fiction books and followed this story on her Facebook.
Her introspection and ability to look at herself through several lenses whilst going through some tough shit is inspirational. There are some sad bits and I did shed a tear. Well recommended.
pickI don‘t usually like books about the Tudors or books that say they‘re witty. But hey-ho I loved this 🤷♀️ Not a series historical novel (some modern language and a lot of licence with the storytelling). But a good story, a great MC and it was very funny.

Chapter One- well written psychological thriller. I did guess what was going on half way through.
Let me Go Mad in my Own Way- wonderful dysfunctional Irish family read. The horse is important on the cover.

Enjoying The Cassandra Section which has been my train read the last couple of days.
Been to 2 gigs the last couple of days and absolutely feeling every second of my age today.
pickThis is amazing - an absolutely brilliant debut novel.
Funny, sad but overall real and life affirming. (I don‘t say those words often!).
Definitely one of my faves of the year so far.
pickFabulous Sunday read! If you already love Slaughter, then this is classic Slaughter with all the gore, horrible stuff and twists and turns.
