Bought this book over 2 years ago and finally sat down to read it. I‘m glad I did! Such a sad but beautiful story and I was rooting for Victoria the whole time. 👍🏾

I was expecting a bit more from this book. It did seem to drag on longer than it needed to but overall an okay read.
Just picked these up from the library on my lunch break! #tbr
This has been a slow read for me. It‘s getting a bit more intriguing now that I‘m almost at the half-way point. Interesting concept about family and child-rearing. Hoping it holds my attention so I can see how it all turns out!
I read this halfway through and skimmed through the rest. Got bored at the halfway point, and was confused as to what was going on. Ready to move on to the next one!
Ok I have no idea what I just read. I think this book meant to have a deeper meaning, I just didn‘t get it. Luckily it was short enough that I didn‘t bail on it. So not for me. 🤷🏽♀️
So true...
Good, fast-paced read. Definitely kept me guessing. Just what I needed after a few bailed books. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I may have went a little overboard at the library today... 🤗📚❤️
Woah. I finished this one in a day. Suspenseful as heck, never saw that ending coming. Total page-turner. Colleen Hoover is becoming one of my go-to authors to get out of a reading slump.
I‘ve been slowly reading this book for over a week now 😬 and I‘m trying to stick with it because I am a bit intrigued. However I‘m not even halfway through and I‘m already like “Ok already, just tell me what happened!” Has anyone read this?
This was a pretty disturbing book. I was shocked when I found out who the killer was. And the ending was crazy. This was a page-turner but definitely hard to read at times which is why it has a so-so rating. I need to read something light-hearted after this. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is what Saturday mornings are for. #currentlyreading
1. I was in elementary-middle school in the 90s. Best decade!
2. Team Kelly and I can‘t really remember why. 🤔
3. Team Dylan- He was cuter and more exciting than Brandon.
4. Ugh I hated high school. I still have nightmares I‘m back! Probably doesn‘t help that my mom still works there. 😫
5. 👋👋

This was a solid read. I thought it dragged on longer than it needed to, but the author kept me guessing until the end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quick and fast-paced read. Really enjoyed it. I felt bad for Korede. Didn‘t seem like she got a chance to enjoy her own life. Also kind of wished the story was told from both sister‘s perspectives. I was curious to see what was going through Ayoola‘s mind. Unbelievable story though, made me question my love and loyalty to my own sister 🤔😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I made it through 100 pages and still wasn‘t into it as much as I expected. Great premise and maybe I‘ll come back to it some other time, just not right now.
Me: “Kids what do y‘all want to do today?”
Daughter: “I want to go to the library!”
Score!!!
This is the second book I‘ve read from this author and I enjoyed it as well. The writing is beautiful. It took me forever to read because I had to stop many times to digest what was happening. I really empathized with the main character. Sad but moving. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed this. The author did a great job with the main character POV. She was real, so honest and vulnerable with all her thoughts and emotions. I loved all the other characters as well, even her overbearing mother. It was a tragic yet heartwarming story that left me feeling blessed and grateful for my life even with its ups and downs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved this pic I found on the web!
Starting this tonight for the new book club I‘m joining! Has anyone read it yet?
It started out okay for me, but then it got weird and confusing. I couldn‘t keep up with all the characters. 🤷🏽♀️ #unpopularopinion
@TheReadingMermaid
Interesting concept of paintings inspired by stranger‘s confessions. The chapters alternated between the 2 main character‘s perspectives who both had their own share of confessions. The big reveal at the end was sweet and heartbreaking. However, I‘m still looking for the same feeling I had after reading her other novel It Ends With Us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Although it took me WAY too long to read this book, I absolutely enjoyed it. Stories about family relationships gets me every time. I loved all 3 of the main characters. Great read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The one book I got for Christmas from a friend who was visiting her home in South Africa. The writing is superb so far. #currentread #southafrica
First book of 2019 finished! Although I didn‘t enjoy this one nearly as much as “It Ends With Us,” it was a pretty good read. Maybe a little too sappy for my taste. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I haven‘t been to the library in months! I‘ve been trying to get through stacks of books I own, but I couldn‘t resist any longer 🤗 #tbr #libaryhaul
Just flew through this one. Now on to watch the Netflix movie...
Had to bail on the last read. I hope this one holds my attention!
Lots of thoughts about this book. To imagine a world like this is mind-blowing. So many distortions of the Bible which pissed me off. I‘m glad I finally read it though. The first half was really good. The ending was not as satisfying as I would have liked, mainly because I was confused on what really happened. Still a pick though.

This was a quick read. Wasn‘t sure how it would end, but expected some sort of twist.
This one started off really good. It didn‘t turn out to be as great as I expected. I liked the story told from the mother‘s perspective the most. I also liked the congressman‘s wife, she turned out to be interesting. That ending though 😒. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book is creeping me out so far. Cora is something else. I purchased it after discovering it on Netflix. I haven‘t watched the series yet though. Perfect Halloween-ish book I guess 😏 🎃👻
