Mind blowing!
Overall Rating 2½⭐ | Narration 😁 = Very Good
It was a Pick and then...
I was really liking this book and then near the end, everything fell apart for me. She put a twist into the story and blew everything I‘d listened to so far completely apart.
I just finished listening to this book. Bookstagram chose 4 books for me to read last month and this is the only book I didn‘t get a chance to read. I‘m glad I added it to my TBR this month. When I don‘t read books from a previous month, I add it to the next monthly TBR I make.
Won a early review copy through #goodreads ! Funny, because it took so long to get here, I‘ve already read a library copy 😂
Super twisty! I absolutely got lost reading this one, trying to figure out who‘s good, who‘s bad, and what actually happened! I definitely want to read more by this author.
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Completely aside from the fact that I can‘t put this book down, YAAAAASS THIS QUOTE! Certainly there are books, story lines, characters that speak to us because of how closely they hit to home, but I‘m always taken aback when there‘s just a solitary line or sentiment that hits right on target.
“That way lies madness.” YES, that.
Favorite things: rainy mornings, porch reading, coffee, starting a new book, campaign slogans
It's an excellent, fast-paced thriller! The ending is UNBELIEVABLE!
Really good! Only saw one twist coming, and did not expect the rest of them.
Someone posted about the Bookly app on here and so of course I had to try it, and I am loving it! I think it‘s making me finish books faster because it tells me there‘s only an hour or less left lol😂 #blameitonLitsy
Starting my next one while on the treadmill 🏃🏻♀️
This is an A+ mystery/thriller. With each reveal in the book, more doors open, increasing the possibilities of what may have happened. Ellison kept me guessing all the way through to the end, which is so rare. I will definitely be looking for more of her books. #botm
Inaccuracies like this drive me insane! I went to medical school well before this character and this is flat-out wrong! I never took amphetamines and am not aware of anyone who did (though it wouldn‘t surprise me if it happens) and work hours restrictions were in place well before this. No one has been required to stay up 48 hours straight in a US med school for some time. This would be pretty easy to figure out with a little research.
I was deeply involved in this audiobook, and then the ending came and I said, “Meh.” It just fell flat for me. Like the author got tired of writing and rushed to tie up the ending. There‘s one particular major piece of dialogue that I felt was never explained. So, it‘s a 2.5 star book for me. If the ending hadn‘t underwhelmed me, I‘d have given it a 3.

Unputdownable book + addictive game = many hours gone by without moving from one spot. #wastedmyafternoon #iregretnothing #wellalmostnothing
I‘m ready for a compulsively listen-able thriller. Hope this one delivers for me! #audiobook #thriller
This was a good book for suspense that keeps you guessing. It‘s written in different times and perspectives which definitely made it a lot more interesting and hard to figure out. I just found the ending to be lacking a little. I felt like it was building up to something huge and it wasn‘t what I wanted from the story. Despite that, I still really enjoyed this one!
A thriller full of suspense and twist with a very unreliable character. This book kept me guessing. The only part I couldn‘t wrap my head around was the ending.
It may be a long night. Sadly, this is probably how I will get some reading done. Watching the storm.
Enjoyable thriller but several plot holes caused by the attempt to throw in several red herrings in my opinion.
Well, that escalated quickly. Another thriller with plenty of action to keep me reading, complete with some twisty stuff that I didn't see coming.
⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Good Morning, Friday! I have one half hour of sleep-shirt-clad coffee-drinking, book-reading, kitty-cooing time before hustling off to work...and it is this one half hour that keeps me from being a mass murderer. So, yay!
It took me awhile to get into this book and then I couldn't put it down. Loved it. I wish she would have given a few more details at the end. I felt like I was left hanging even though she wrapped it all up.
At some point this reminded me of Murder on the Orient Express, except different. Still good though, and very twisty.
Listening to this one as I work and it's captivating. I don't trust any of these narrators.
This psychology thriller was a great read! Twisty and unpredictable (to me, anyways...I don't really try to guess what's happening though since I like to be surprised.) A woman's husband goes missing 5 years ago and he has just been declared dead. As she tries to figure out what happened to him, the book goes back and forth to their childhood as well as the time of his disappearance and present day. I had a hard time putting it down!
Loved it! Totally recomend if you are looking for a good psicological thriller. Really well crafted!
I've read both Ellison's Taylor Jackson and Samantha Owens series but I think this is both the first standalone novel and audio version for me! It's well performed- the male reader does an especially great job- and it's easy to keep listening to just a bit more as it all falls into place! #AudioColoring
This book was good not great. Some of the things I was able to figure out along the way. For me the ending made no sense. I can fathim how anyone would marry her especially his brother after what she did.
"Get a past, child. That will give you something to run from." HOLY PLOT TWIST!!!!!!! This book was way better than I thought it would be. No one knows kept me flying through the book and when I got to the end I couldn't read or flip the pages fast enough, shocked to see that the pages didn't catch fire. I really liked all of the characters, they seemed pretty relatable... but that Daisy, my god what an unlikeable person!
Just starting this and the mother in law is already working my nerves. 🙄 but the story seems like a really good one.
Crazy mystery about a woman and her missing/dead husband. Definite pick if you were a fan of Gone Girl or Girl on the Train.
First book completed for the #springcleaningreadathon
Trying to read but Princess had to make sure my lap was comfy enough for her. Also it looks like she has a bald spot 😂
Kept me guessing til a point. I enjoyed it for a light, quick read.. the ending was a little silly however..
Trying to at least start this tonight! That dang book aisle at Target got me again! Did I need a book( always) did I go there to buy a book... that would be a NO!
This is my kind of book. It kept me guessing, right up until the end. My only complaint was I felt it was a wee bit too long. It's cleverly constructed, but teeters on that line between plot twisty and manipulative. I became a little annoyed around the 75% mark. I wanted to get on with it already. Still, great book! I actually gave it 5 stars on goodreads.
Im sooo confused how to feel about this book. It's a good book but i dunno how i feel; so i gave it 3 stars on GoodReads. Also got to complete letter E for #litsyAtoZ (im sooo behind) and a square from #litsyreadingchallenge because this was recommended by Pinterest.
Definite pick. This was everything I was looking for. Characters that kept me guessing, a plot that kept it interesting, and an ending I did not see coming. 🙌🏻
#SeasonsReadings2016 #BestOfDecember December was not was a great reading month. But, neither was October and November. But I did triple my October reads in December. So, victory. I'm looking forward to starting the new year, kind of a clean slate, and getting back into books. Anyone else feeling that way?
I am so hooked by this book already! Not feeling too well so me and peanut are snuggled under a blanket with hot chocolate enjoying a good read ☺
Snow is falling outside, popcorn, twinkle lights, and a new book! Sounds like a great Friday evening before the holiday weekend if you ask me :)
Thank you Goodreads Giveaways and @GalleryBooks for this beautiful copy of No One Knows! I can't wait to read it!
Day 25 of #photoadaynov16
This little stack constitutes my #latestbookishbuys
So far in November.
Not counting the 10 audiobooks I have picked up this month.
I have a problem! 😳
Suspenseful, I was kept guessing til the end.
Worked a big fundraiser all day. It may only be 3:45 but my pajamas and I are ready to finish this book!
Time to start a new book. Because I'm incapable of reading one book at a time, I'll be alternating between this, Rebecca, and Orphan X
