So unfortunately I ended up in the hospital this weekend with a bowel obstruction. We‘re hoping to resolve it medically. Between this and the allergic reaction, it hasn‘t been a great week for me medically. ☹️☹️

Megabooks Fortunately my obstruction was resolved medically, so I didn‘t have surgery! ?Unfortunately, my iv was in a spot that made it hard to use my phone, so I wasn‘t on social media much. (My iv would stop flowing every time I tried to check in!!) So I watched 90 Day Fiancé when I didn‘t feel well enough to read, but I was also able to finish 2.5 books! (So now I‘m 5 reviews behind. ??‍♀️) I‘m glad to be home and back with Molly! (edited) 2y

Megabooks @Addison_Reads I had the NG tube in for 24 hours. It helped, but it made me really stuffy and my eyes watered to a degree that I still have a rash on my face. Plus it is just massively uncomfortable! But it‘s over and I‘m better, so that‘s what counts! 💜💜 2y

I had a frightening night at the hospital with my little one last night. He‘s feeling much better now. But as always I am so grateful to the wonderful NHS staff who are there, exhausted but skillful and kind, to care for us. Also thank goodness for antibiotics! Sometimes they are magic! I have a raging temp today so also feeling so grateful my husband has a rare week off (not sure he‘s seeing it quite the same). Going to try to do some reading 👍

Hi Littens !
My surgery was a success and they removed the lump. I'm in quite a bit of pain and just taking it easy at the moment. Binge watching shows and reading today, helping me feel a lot better !

I love that bonding time with my spouse; it always makes me feel safe, comforted, & loved, like when I was read to as a kid. 8y

obviateit Love that skyline! Do you guys have a support system here? Injuries can be so hard if you don't have close friends or family nearby. I don't know you, but I'd be happy to bring a freezer meal or something on Sunday! My big kid has a recital in university city, so I could bring something after. I hope she has a quick recovery! 😊 8y

Since we've moved back to be close to Hubby's family I try not to assume that anyone has support if I don't know for sure. @MicheleinPhilly it's good to hear that you have people and I'm glad I made your day!
