Quick throwback to when we had Elephant & Piggie visit our library over the summer! I love my job for so many reasons, but being able to put on events like this is one of the biggest. This was such a fun time, and the kids absolutely LOVED meeting their favorite book characters in real life 💕

I bought a Mo Willems treasury for her sister and she immediately grabbed it and started reading. ❤️
I told my daughter she needed to read 30min a day this summer to make sure she stays at her reading level. She was more than happy to. Then, later that day she sent me this. 😍💚

The kiddos‘ library is really coming along! This little room was just a playroom with toys when we moved in and it got almost no use. Now that we‘ve removed the toys & filled it with books, we have two very happy campers! (And two happy parents. 😁)
pickI always love reading #ElephantandPiggie as a #ReadOutLoud for my class! Last year it was Gr. 1 and this year, it‘s Gr. 3. Even thought it‘s pretty simple language, my students still dig it. These guys and that darn Pigeon are all ok my me!

This little one has had a tough time translating her auditory learning style into confident reading. I've been working with her for more than three years and now, watching her eyes light up at the sight of a new book and then listening to her read aloud just fills my heart right up!
She has special voices for Gerald and Piggie. ☺️ We really like Mo Willems around here.
