Seems to be an unpopular opinion but I liked this book! I appreciated the continuation of Adam/Mia‘s stories, but this time more from Adam‘s perspective. I did read both “If I Stay” & “Where She Went” back to back. If the first book was a standalone story, I would not have appreciated it as much.

Audio. Overall, I thought the story was ok. It‘s been a long time since I read the first book, but I did think the author did a nice job with the recap. It seemed to fill me in on everything I needed to know that I had forgotten. I guess music stories are not necessarily all that appealing for me, nor are rock star celebrity stories. Of course, this is a YA book, so I can see where both of those things are maybe more appealing for younger people

I saw the movie ‘If I stay‘ and found out it was based on a book. I was curious to see where the story goes from there. The writing was sort of ok, but I didn‘t really connect with young Adam. I‘m glad to know how the story ends, but I could‘ve just skipped to the last pages and been satisfied.

Adam, Mia‘s boyfriend, deals with the aftermath of Mia‘s choice from “If I Stay”.

This book is about Adam and Mia‘s life and how dramatically it changed over the course of three years. After Mia‘s devastating accident took place where she lost both her parents and brother, she got accepted to Juilliard. Mia decided to move on with her life and go to Juilliard to pursue her cello playing. Not only did she totally forget about the old life she had, but she also moved on from her boyfriend Adam that helped her with the accident.

Definitely not as good as the first one, but continues where the first left off. We follow Adam in this story and it does jump from past to present quite a bit. We can see in the beginning he is not doing well, but going into the past helps to clarify why.

The sequel to the previous book. And this was also amazing. A very easy read. I had my root canal going on. So this was the book I read at the Dentists place. I finished it in 3 appointments 🙊. I am glad this is what happened with Mia and Adam.

Oh, my heart my heart my heart. I love this book. Here‘s how much – I started by reading it, then I started listening to it because the narrator‘s voice was perfect, but I also loved slowly reading of it, then I stayed up late reading more, then I went back to where I left off from the reading and listened to what I had read, basically reading it twice at the same time. Now I have a massive book hangover.

Of course I had to read the follow up to If I Stay and I think I liked Where She Went more! With the characters older and more mature we see much more development in two complex characters. Definitely a #guiltypleasure read

My new favorite author

I loved "if I stay" so I had to buy this book. It was just as good and addicting as the other. It was perfectly written. Had me hooked through the entire book. Finished in one day. ?

This is the sequel to If I Stay. I read that one, and enjoyed it. This one, not so much. Most of the story was about him and his struggles, and then the last 30 minutes or so is about the two of them. I will say, the reader was enjoyable to listen to.

Dragged on. Should have stopped at the first book and not made this a series.

I‘m surprised to see such negative reviews as I liked this book far more than If I Stay. I really enjoyed Adam‘s story and feeling all of the emotions he went through.

Didn‘t love it. I felt like nothing happened the first 90% of the book, however, I did like how she wrapped things up with Mia and Adam.
