Dewey the Library Cat: A True Story
It has been a rough week for Chewie… last Saturday he woke up with a huge hematoma in his ear, so off to the vet we went to have to drained and we have had to go to the vet twice more since then to have it drained, today they also put in a staple and a couple of sutures… both kitty and momma are tired. 😞
It‘s quite obvious my favorite #animal is a cat. My first word, other than Dad and Mom, was kitty!
My favorite escape type books are cozy mysteries. Many cozies tend to feature cats, as either part of the detecting team, or the amateur sleuth adopts one. Here‘s a newish one - set in a cat cafe! I know absolutely nothing about it, other than I had to buy it. #SebastianKitty is a reluctant model. #ayupaugust #catsoflitsy

pickThis cozy mystery is the first in a new series. It was a cute, quick read. That said, it introduced a whole cast of characters that was hard to keep track, especially of the three men pursuing the MC. She seems to have difficulty keeping them all separate, as well. Who else has heard this unusual expression? I never heard about a redheaded stepchild until I moved to East Tennessee, but this book takes place in New England.
Miss Molly says she is cozy here at home and is glad not to be a CAT ABOUT TOWN like JJ. She says no respectable cat wears a leash; those are for dogs. She says she wouldn‘t mind being part of a Cat Cafe family, though. Being petted and admired like the queen she is is the only way things should be. When reminded that she‘s lactose intolerant, her majesty pouted; she was hoping for some of the forbidden people food. It is a Cat Cafe, after all.
I must have a book nook like this one. My life then would be complete…

My sister in law now lives in our building and her cat loves me. My cat will never be a lap cat, so now I've got this little booger to hang out with. 😻 #catsoflitsy
