5/5 2nd epilogue made me cry
Starting this one today! Last in the #ouabc set!
Book 81/100 of the year.
Definitely on my top 3 Bridgerton books.
The whole book keeps you expecting something to happen, each chapter makes you excited for the next one.
The final Bridgerton book was more of the same, really - perfectly pleasant with likable characters but nothing mind-blowing. Sometimes that's exactly what I want, though! I enjoyed the series overall but do think they are somewhat over-hyped as I am not convinced that they are particularly superior to other historical romances. I won't avoid Quinn in the future, but also don't feel a burning need to add her other books to the TBR.
5-2-22: My 41st finished book of 2022! Book 8 in the Bridgerton series. This is the final book in the series and I hate to see it end. This one is about the youngest Bridgerton, Gregory. All he wants is to fall in love. Will it be Hermione or Lucy? Also, someone is being blackmailed and forced to marry to keep their title. This one has more intrigue than others and I liked the pacing. I hope the series continues to follow the books.
Of COURSE I had to do a #reread of one of these books after S2 dropped. I love how love snuck up on Gregory and Lucy, and all the shenanigans at the wedding reception! Good Lord! #historicalromance #bridgerton
I put off finishing this series for a good long time, but finally my journey with the Bridgertons came to an end. I have to say, this one gave me some anxiety! But of course, in the end there's happiness (although, why that second epilogue? What was Quinn trying to do to me?!).

Finished the Bridgerton series! Gregory wants what his siblings have, but through much of the book he proves himself as a dolt as a friend or lover. He tries to get by on his charm & looks; not my favorite kind of man. As a Bridgerton, he will redeem himself.
I've officially finished all the stories of the Bridgerton siblings! Anthony and Benedict's were my favourites. Eloise and Gregory's are the ones I cared for the least. I found the series declined a bit once Whistledown was exposed. And the parts that involved the family being together were by far the most entertaining.
I adored Gregory‘s journey to love. I loved the character Lucy. She is so fiercely loyal to her friends. Gregory is so oblivious to the world of women. I enjoyed watching each member find their own way to love.

FINALLY - almost through with the Bridgertons. While I‘m glad that I stuck with it after the dumpster fire that was the first book, my completionist side of things I ready for these to wrap up.

I did it! I got to every Bridgerton sibling.
I‘m officially in for all 8 seasons. I appreciate how they were all able to support their own story. That doesn‘t always happen when people try to spin off stories to side characters. Cheers to Julia Quinn!

Totally my favorite book in this series. Gregory falls in love with a beautiful woman who is in love with someone else, and when her good friend proves herself the true love, Gregory must try to stop a wedding. Good characters, fun story, and a nice relaxing read. 3.5/5 stars.
5/5 for this one! I just loved this. Gregory was so fun. Lucy was a sweet character. Their storyline was so great. I have loved this series.
With book 8, I have finally finished the Bridgerton series. I greatly enjoyed the first 4 books, a lot of that because of Lady Whistledown. The last 4 were more meh for me, in particular books 7 and 8 got a bit ridiculous. But overall a fun romance series and I look forward to see how Netflix continues to adapt it.
Book 3 for #awesomeApril
I finished the last #Bridgerton book last night! Gratitude goes to Julia Quinn for this wonderful, whirlwind fever dream, to my best friend for talking this series up to me for years and years, and to Francesca and Michael for being literally perfect.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved all the twists and turns and it really kept me gripped. Although the outcome was fairly obvious due to the writing style, for so much of the book I couldn‘t see it coming. I absolutely loved how it ended!
I‘m so sad.😞 This was the last book of the Bridgerton series!! Very much enjoyed each and every book.
20-22 Mar 2021 (audiobook)
This was my least favourite of the series - I expect I was completely over binging on romance novels and felt myself tuning out often. Listening in such quick succession, you realise the writing is quite repetitive and more than a little formulaic. I need a break! Which is not to say that I am not eagerly anticipating season 2 of the TV series. I do, however, wonder whether it will last all the way to season 8.
Book #9 of 2021 & the last of the Bridgerton series. I miss them already.
Moo moo is ready to see what the final book of the Bridgerton series has for us. It‘s been a little over a month since we read the first novel, fell in love and have had to wait patiently for each one to arrive in the mail. Thank you Julia Quinn for writing such an amazing and long series haha we‘ll have to move on to the offshoot series next
7/8 #Bridgerton books complete! Benedict's book remains my favorite, but this one is an INCREDIBLY close second. Gregory and Hyacinth's sibling relationship! Gregory and Lucy not realizing they're in love until it's almost too late! The absolutely bananapants wedding reception! I'm obsessed. #romance #historicalromance
Red seems to be winning on my #bookspinbingo but I‘ll take it. The last Bridgerton book and completely ridiculous but fun. I mean very far fetched but I did like Lucy. Gregory though wasn‘t my favorite. Glad to be done, the series does have some issues being published 20 years ago(no excuse but times do change rapidly)but many do still stand up and I‘m sure the tv show will avoid or work around the issues to be better suited for our time.
Friends, I had a mostly delightful first experience with Julia Quinn. Her prose reminds me of Eva Ibbotson‘s—a VERY good thing—and I got a kick out of how her characters‘ perspectives on love change as they fall for one another. There are a few dodgy bits, like dudes who wonder if they can restrain themselves (ugh) and casual homophobia (I‘m so over the, “But it was period-appropriate!” thing), but I found more to love than not. #caseyplusbooks
I finished my 1250-piece puzzle last night, after over a month of interruptions. Whee! I was glad to get some time with my audiobook, too. It‘s great, but I barely listened to it last week due to technical difficulties. #audiopuzzling
I did some #audiopuzzling the other night while I started ON THE WAY TO THE WEDDING. It's my very first Julia Quinn novel and I think I'm gonna like it a lot.
Omg and now I want a new Bridgertons series featuring Gregory & Lucy's children ❤️
Reading the last of the Bridgertons books! I'm not ready! 😭📖 #currentlyreading
