This was a nice, easy read combining fantasy with Nora Roberts‘ regular romance theme. After reading some somber books lately, this was a fun way to break that up.

Nora can really do no wrong in my eyes and this group of characters were all fascinating. Looking forward to the next book😊
My favorite new wine and a good book tonight😊
Nora didn't disappoint with this new series. I was intrigued from the jump beginning with Sasha the seer. Then throw in 5 more compelling characters as well as an evil goddess. WOW!! Hooked
Going on vacation in a week and first priority has been searching for and checking out audiobooks for the car ride. I am really excited about my choices and can‘t wait to start listening to them but first have to actually begin packing and preparing for the trip!
This started out as introducing us to six different strangers with different abilities and later form into a family. And TBH, I totally enjoy this that I complete it within a day. This is my 1st book by NR with paranormal genre. I usually read her suspense or romance. They kept secrets and all will be revealed. #paranormalromance
3.5⭐️
This wasn't the greatest book I've every read but I had so much fun reading this. It was like candy and a good way to start the summer. This focuses on Sasha; a painter who has been having dreams about a group of 6 people, she was a part of, who needed to come together to find what was lost by the goddesses. In response she travels to Greece and that‘s where the story starts.

I was hoping to find another of her series that was similar to the pagan series and this book hit the nail right on the head. I wasn't really fond of the romantic scenes mainly because it was a fifty shades of grey moment but the concept of the coming together of six individuals to fight a cursed war was very intriguing. Unlike her shadow spell series this had more of a relaxed story line. I will definitely continue onto book two in the series.
I wanted to like this book, which I got in a swap. Unfortunately Roberts' attempt at adding supernatural did not work for me. It just did not work well as someone who has already found so many great authors doing it already. I give her credit for doing it but will not be picking up the rest of these #romantsy
Looks like spring is coming but we are under a winter storm watch tomorrow into Saturday. 😪 This book is the start of a trilogy and I‘ll definitely be reading the next two. Good vs evil, light vs dark, friendship, romance, suspense, battles, and magic. This has it all. I‘m a sucker for magic. 6 strangers unite to battle evil and must trust each other and reveal their long kept secrets.
I am in the mood for some sappy romance, and usually Nora Roberts hits the mark, but this book lacked the cutesy, easy, banter, I was looking for.
This is an okay escapist read. A bit mystical. A bit bland.
Currently reading. Having a hard time getting into it. Trying so hard!
This series opener introduces readers to six individuals who possess powers. There is one who can transport people across the world. Roberts' trilogies tend to be formulaic, but entertaining. I liked this trilogy, even with the fantasy parts (I'm not the biggest fantasy reader)! #beammeup #hallowreads
Has anyone read this series? I haven't read any of Nora Roberts' fantasy type books and I'm unsure of how I'll like it.
*pardon the bad cover* I got it for free, so I couldn't complain.
Is it a little cheesy and a little over the top on the romance scenes and a surprisingly quick team building among strangers? Yes. Did I still enjoy it? Yes, indeed. I'd probably call this a Youth Adult book. Maybe it's already categorized that way haha. I love that this book is like a fantasy version of the Avengers or X-Men.
I didn't hate this book at all, but it did nothing to grab my attention. In fact, it was so forgettable that I forgot I was reading it 🙈. It's a chosen one story about six individuals destined to find a magic star. #adultfiction #popularliterature #romance #adventure
#eclecticreadathon #litsypartyofone book one.
Soooo this is getting a pick because I expected to hate it, and I actually found myself intrigued. I think it's a disservice to call this romance. It has no more romance than the ACOTAR series or some other books I've read. It has an interesting plot with a decent amount of world building, characters with distinguishable personalities and traits, and a decent bit of mystery. Not bad. 3.5 stars.
#eclecticreadathon
Reading with a cold beverage ✔️
Iced Chai to keep me up reading late!
Also I feel like this filter goes well with my book (and hides my utter lack of makeup haha)
Anyway, that's four! 💃🏼
(I also ate a single curly fry earlier but I don't think that really counts for reading and eating)
This is also my current #litsypartyofone snack since it's basically like drinking dessert!
✨✨✨Using the #eclecticreadathon and #litsypartyofone to try to accomplish the #ERMadlibs challenge as well.
Sooo this works for Noun/Thing (I think)
And it works as A book outside my comfort zone (2 pts!) as I mentioned in my previous post (romance, Nora Roberts books in general, did I mention I've never read a book shelved in the romance section of the bookstore before?)
It also takes place in a city I want to visit, (2 points) Corfu. ✨✨✨
I did it, I took the plunge and made a #BlindDate!
This book is a romance, as advertised, and looks right up my alley! The binding is gorgeous: deckle edges, with beautiful endpapers, and cutout edges on the endflaps.
And I've never read a Nora Roberts, so what better way to get aquatinted than book one of a trilogy?!
Can't wait to read it!
I didn't dislike this, but wished it had less love and a little more lady empowerment. Will probably finish the series.
I've always been a fan of Nora and I just love how she blends magic with the every day. She obviously studies hard about her subjects and knows exactly how to convey her ideas and imagery to make it easy to imagine and to be as believable as it could be. I feel like she knows how to fight, fire a gun, use a sword and other weapons, and wield magic and witchcraft. She's such a badass hahaha. I love it.
My usual answer would be Harry Potter. But, if I'm honest, Nora Roberts is my #mostreread author. She's my literary version of comfort food. I have at least 40 of her books. And I'm not even a big romance fan! I just love her! #FeistyFeb
This story was shadowed by others I've read before - it strongly reminded me of The Circle Trilogy, The Key Trilogy, The Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy, and The Reef. What should have been surprising elements were not - all had been done before in the books stated, except for one element, which for me was spoilt by someone's review on Litsy.
But since this is Nora Roberts, I'm still going to read the other books in this series, The Guardians Trilogy.
I've been patiently waiting for all the books in the trilogy to be released before getting my grabby little hands all over them! Starting with this one right now.
Survived hosting Thanksgiving at our house for the first time ever. Only minimal family drama! Such a great day full of loved ones! I've really enjoying taking breaks to finish this book. I'm not a big romance fan but I love Nora Roberts books that lean more towards fantasy. This one has been great.
This book was my first time reading Nora Roberts' work and I have to say I really enjoyed it! This was an amazing fantasy fiction novel. The main character is an artist so even though I couldn't connect with them entirely, it was nice to be able to read about a main character with a similar background as me was great.
Jess recently completed a buddy read of this book and its follow up, Bay of Sighs. Read about her experience at

I definitely liked it. There could have been a bigger focus on the romance and I would have loved to get more POV from Bran, but overall better than the Cousins O'Dwyer if not quite on the same level as Sign of the Seven or Morrigan's Cross. Also, I'm in love with the cover, so SHINY!🌟🌟🌟
Lovely train reading! The cover is gorgeous and so far the book is living up to it. I only hope it's stays better than the Cousins O'Dwyer trilogy, that one was terrible.
Gaaaaaaah. In the midst of a slump of sorts. Romance novels are keeping me reading but not completely satisfied. This one was completely consistent with Nora Roberts' usual form (she can really churn them out) and kept me turning pages. The magical though unrealistic plot was entertaining at least.
This book was great. I love Nora Roberts' writing, even though the story can sometimes be predictable. This novel did have some unpredictable turns that really amazed me. Can't wait for the next installment (if I can find it in the moving boxes!)
This one was decent but basically seemed like a repeat of her last magical trilogy - The Cousins O'Dwyer trilogy. A group of 6 people with super powers teaming up (and hooking up, of course) to fight one evil witch/god/demon.
Currently reading the second book in Star of Fortune trilogy, Bay of Sighs
I'm gonna need to start using this one at work, but I'd definitely be redacting the 'pretty'. More like ugly mug.
My May Book Club directive was a book picked by your mother - this is what my mom recommended. It's been fairly slow-going for me so far.
🌟🌟🌟🌟 The start to another entertaining Nora Roberts trilogy. They get a bit formulaic, but there's a mermaid 😄
The first book in this trilogy reminds me of why I fell in love with her books in the first place.
