These are four book series I definitely want to tackle this year. Here's to hoping this will be the year I stop postponing them!🤞🍀💜📚

Let the tardiness continue! 🥳🍾🥂
I genuinely *DID* want this to be the year of organization, mindfulness, and *planning*... of being *prepared*... and I know it still CAN be... but being a perfectionist always throws a wrench into the works and I get paralyzed. I wanted to have beautiful written journal spreads, but here we are. Better late than never! 😁
Above are more of the #readingchallenges I plan to participate in this year. Yay! 💜📚
Always fashionably late to the best Litsy parties in town 😉🥳🍾🥂
Be prepared to see plenty of catch up posts from yours truly for beginning of the year reading plans that I procrastinated on because I a) was too overwhelmed by all the fabulous options and b) let the pursuit of general holiday coziness take over my life. Planning kinda went out the window. I regret nothing. 😁🤩 More to come!

At the start of my lockdown (24 March) I decided to keep a list of all the books that I started and finished within my lockdown and as that finished today as I go back to work tomorrow these are the books that I completed. 33 books in total!
To see all of the reviews on them use the hashtag #lockdownlist
Last night I decided I would start to keep a list of all books I read during the lockdown. I have some books that I will be finishing off during this time but I won't include them as my criteria is books that start and finish since I went on lockdown on the 24th March till the end of lockdown so I am posting of a picture of my current list when I started and will post my final list on my final day of lockdown to see the final number.
Been after this for a while and I am glad I waited as I picked it up for this incredible bargain from my local #Waterstones as I popped in for a gift card for my Uncle's birthday present. 📚📖
Hmmmm - this is a TOUGH challenge from The Fussy Librarian on FB.
At the moment I'll have to go with:
Toni Morrison
John Irving
Douglas Coupland
Octavia Butler
Mary Roach
Welp, since there‘s no sign of baby yet I can‘t quite break into my new parenthood listography.com journal, but could get started on the literary one. Such beautifully illustrated books with creative categories to capture everyday life at your own pace. E.g. I‘m excited to keep track of some of the things our incoming kiddo will “pretend to do and be.” And perhaps I‘ll spend some time reflecting on my high school reading days...📚 📖
This just makes me even more excited about it!
I am so excited about this new arrival!
@unabridgedpod just released our 10th episode, “I‘m Not Stalking Her or Anything: Lit Chat #1.” We play this super-fun game from @bookriot for the first time. You can listen via iTunes or Stitcher, or check out our website unabridgedpod.com.
I got Literary! Everyone Has A Book Genre That Matches Their Personality — Here's Yours https://www.buzzfeed.com/rinri/if-you-were-a-book-what-genre-would-you-be-3c8kx?...
Here‘s a fun one. What books would you include?
First list in honor of yesterday‘s Valentine‘s day. Which books would make your list?
I got this cool journal/book to inspire some blog posts. It‘s pretty cool with many different types of lists (they provide the list topic and you fill them in).
I‘ll share a few pages over the next few days and you lovely Littens can join in and create some great lists!
My stars!!! 😍😍😍 Look at this beautiful stash of things from the wonderful @Lwiesman !! Thank you so much for everything. I'm so excited about the literary listography, it's perfect!!! And the socks look so cozy!! Everything is just perfect, and I am so grateful for the lovely gift.

It has a listing on the litsy library!
Going to find this page so hard to fill because my reading journey is far from over. Why you do this to me @Verity 😂
Edit: my toddler just tried to colour it in...may have to keep this up high...😬
Between an active (non-reading) trip with Mr. B and planning the #Booked2018 Challenge with my co-hosts, I‘ve been slacking on reading time. I‘m also super bummed that I didn‘t read even ONE diverse author this month. First time since I joined Litsy. Gotta get back on track for December. #novembersummary #monthlystats
Check it out! Another list just appeared in my feed...this one from the Vancouver Sun Times. And don‘t ask me why I get emails from them?!? I honestly don‘t Know!!!
And Beartown made this list too!!!!
I‘ve read less from this list....
I cannot guarantee this list will be fulfilled in October, but it was fun to write it out.
I love making lists... I'm not quite up there with the main guy from High Fidelity but I'm close. So, in no particular order, my top 5 favorite books.
1. It-Stephen King
2. Matilda-Roald Dahl
3. The Great Gatsby-F. Scott Fitzgerald
4. Wicked-Gregory Maguire
5. Pride and Prejudice-Jane Austen
This list could change at any point, possibly even later today. What are your top 5?
Something I love more than books? MAKING LISTS.
With that said this book is perfect for those of us who find pleasure on organizing our thoughts, books and lives into lists. It has beautiful illustrations and is well-organized.
-Also great to keep in a coffee table for visitors!
Curious to know; What are some of your favorite troubled characters?
Bought myself this book journal with a gift card. Absolutely adore the quality of it and the beautiful illustrations throughout. Can't wait to start filling it in! 😍📚😍📚
My daughter got me the perfect gift for Christmas!
