Bookwomble I started with two cheese on crumpets, scrolling Litsy and reading about the new Tolkien book due in November. It's a bank holiday in England, so having a slow start to the day 😌 2y

A humorous prequel in which Moominpappa reads his memoirs to Moomintroll, Snufkin and Sniff, introducing lots of characters who stick around for future adventures.
I particularly liked the Horriblest Ghost, who Jansson skilfully makes both morbidly gruesome and amusingly pompous. 👻

#KeepLitsyPositive today - this is my niece, totally engrossed in a book. It‘s one of her favourite things! Other favourite things are Moomins - she‘s not wildly chatty yet, but leave her alone with a Moomin cushion and they‘ll chat for ages!

On the keeping positive front, I‘ve also booked a supermarket delivery (for 2 weeks time 😱) and subscribed to NetFlix. What should I be watching?

I know a lot of you came to love my posts of Moomin, so it is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that sadly he passed away yesterday. Words can't describe how I'm feeling right now... I've lost my best friend 💔
