(2/15), Chef‘s Kiss cute graphic novel. , Powwow Day and Lost Library, picture books. Both ok. Continued in comments.

Continuing this #SeriesRead2021 and loving these girls. I loved the housing scramble and Esther‘s crisis of confidence. I‘m trying to pace myself and not binge the whole series in a matter of days, but it‘s hard.

At first, it was a great deal about Esther, who drove me crazy, and the story seemed to be all over the place. I soon readjusted to the fast pace. Then, between Mario references, the relevance of house-hunting troubles, and the delight of low-budget film mockery, I found myself smiling. The characters just continue to delight. Not my favorite storylines, I admit, but it still left me in it for the next issue.

Decided to read this instead of watching fluff on Netflix or Stan before bed and it‘s been pretty funny so far.

Daisy is my spirit animal. 🙌🏻

I had to put The Trauma Cleaner down for a bit, it‘s very difficult to read some of it without being overwhelmed, so I thought Giant Days would cheer me up! I love this series about 3 friends in their first years at University in Sheffield, England. Esthers a mess after leaving her boyfriend, Susan‘s a mess after McGraw & Daisy just wants everyone to be happy. And clean. But mostly happy. Highly recommend 5⭐️

Juggling study with boys(and girls)and trying to decide who they want to be. Funny, poignant & wonderful. Plus, the art is amazing.

Giant Days is always fun. Female friendships are key, and it‘s basically just 3 college roommates trying to navigate life. Esther is my spirit animal

These ladies are something else and I love them. I dig the artwork even though it‘s not this spectacular, beautiful stuff it‘s still fantastic. Susan is my favorite. I see myself minus the smoking thing.

These girls 😍 their quirky adventures and the illustration style just work so well and feel so relatable even in their absurdity. I forget they're British though 😂 their accents are definitely North American in my head 😜 and with the free enthusiastic child care offered by grandparents, I'm able to enjoy comics and parfaits and coffee while it's hot! 😱☕📚 #mommyreads #comics #booksandcoffee

Such a balance between these lovely ladies. Keeping up with Susan and her turbulent ride through Tinder dating and Esther's money problems is entertainment enough. But Daisy and the things she ends up in always crack me up.
