⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Re-Reading this for a refresher before I finally start the second in the series. Me and my siblings are going to read the whole series this year. I‘m actually enjoying it even more now then the first time I read it. I think because I have a better grasp of the world building this time around 🦀
When selling the impossible, looks matter.
Found this quote quite interesting and more profound than it actually and probably is, lol. If you're trying to convince someone of something that seems crazy or impossible, looking crazy won't help.
(Sorry for no pic! I borrowed it from the library and I've already returned it...:()
189 of 2021. Twelve planets are represented by each of the zodiac signs. Each has talents and strengths. Rhoma Grace is a teenager from Cancer who can read the stars in a unique way. She is nominated to be her house‘s guardian. A dark force is intent on destroying the 12 houses so Rhoma is determined to use her talents to find and stop it. I really enjoyed the world built in this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was so much fun! Thanks for hosting @JoScho
Lining up my tentative stacks for the #readyoursign challenge next month! It seems like the perfect time to read Romina Russell's Zodiac series, for obvious reasons! 😁 Since June is Pride month as well, I'm going to try and squeeze as many LGBTQ+ books that fit the qualifications into this challenge as well! 🏳️🌈 The stack on the right are the Pride books that also fit my zodiac prompts! Huzzah! 💕📚 @Meaw_catlady @Clwojick
This was not a good book. Such a bad start to #bookspinbonanza . Another YA love triangle with an annoying main character who repeats herself way too much.
⭐
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing with #bookspinbonanza . I feel so bad, I'm not even done with my first book yet 😖
The tale of the 12 Zodiac as communities of people with different skills and talents was very intriguing. Rhoma Grace is not who I thought she would be. She is young and naive but also strong and loyal. I am excited to see where the stars take her next.
First review on this site! The basis of this book is that there are 12 planets, one for each zodiac sign. Each of the planets‘ people align with the zodiac personalities (more or less). All ‘zodiai‘ can foretell things from the stars. The book centers around Cancer Rho stopping a mysterious danger. The lore is amazing and the subplots could be a little better. There is some violence and suggestive things. Nothing explicit and good book!
Received the complete Zodiac series today, by Romina Russell. I absolutely CAN NOT wait to start these! 🤗 So glad I have a long weekend ahead of me! Happy Friday everyone! 💕
Zodiac was a good read! It follows some very cliche YA tropes, somewhat unsuccessfully in my opinion. Overall, however, the book was endearing and there are some gold nuggets of truth within the main character‘s narrative exposition. It‘s worth reading and I plan on finishing the series.
“Even though I‘m Guardian, I‘ve never considered myself a leader. I thought that in order to lead, you first had to have a plan. But sometimes leading is about keeping people together when there is no plan. When there‘s only the will to survive in the face of invincible evil.” ~Holy Mother Rhoma Grace
I was so blindsided by all the twists and turns this book took me on - especially with what happens to Mathias in one chapter. I may or may not have screamed in frustration at that point. 😂 10/10 would read again for sure.
This is a series i started years ago and ended up bailing on in the middle of book 2. I think life just got busy and i never picked it back up, but i actually remember enjoying this book a lot. So when i found this copy i got a urge to find the rest of the series and finish the saga. 🖤☁️✨🌙 loved the characters and i thought the storyline and worlds the author created were beautiful.
i‘m a taurus btw ♉️ how about u guys 😊🌈♥️?
3⭐'s. It was okay. It started off strong but lose me along the way. A great concept but I wish it wasn't a young adult because I think this could have been better if the main character was a lot older.
Does anyone know if any online book clubs for young adult books?? Or would anyone be interested in starting one? I‘ve always wanted to join a book club.
When you do your yearly Santa visit and buy a book at the mall tradition and as you walk towards the Children's section all three of your boys head off to the YA section. Whaaaaaa
Another cool pick by my #lmbpc group! 😎
This one hit a whole bunch of YA tropes, and it hit 'em good. Throw in a unique sci-fi/fantasy combo and you're in for a fun ride!
@blithebuoyant @jessinikkip @maximoffs Happy reading!
I am in love with this book and these characters #zodiac #rominarussell #wanderingstar #blackmoon #thirteenrising
Literature is one of humanity‘s greatest treasures. This book is not worthy of being referred to as “literature”. Instead, it should be referred to a “junk”. And yet, I can‘t wait to read the other books in the series!
Would anyone be interested in a Buddy Read for this book? Ive read it before and wanted to do a reread since there's a bunch of books in the series. Anyone into space operas like I am?

To be quite honest, this is one of the first science fiction novels I've read in years. It was loaned to me by a friend, and I wasn't sure that I'd like it at all. After the first few chapters, I was hooked. It combines tragedy and loss with overcoming and triumph. It's an empowering book, whether you're 15 or 55. Completely recommend it. 🙌🏼
Just started reading this book at the recommendation (and loaning) of @Bturner588 and I already like it ✨
"Yet we would also remind Lady Rho that when we open our minds too wide, we risk closing them"
- An Acolyte pg. 310
"The most crucial truths are always rejected before they're accepted. It's one of our greatest human flaws: arrogance. We look up and dare to assume we know, when the universe is unknowable."
- Hysan Dax pg. 149
“And in a universe of people that spend their todays searching for tomorrows, hope is the most powerful weapon you can have.”
If ever there was a reason to choose a book because of the #coverart this would be it! #sobeautiful #astrology #space
i really wanted to really like this one, but it's just a meh for me. it has a good premise, and i like that it's adventurous enough, (pseudo sci-fi-fantasy-ish)...but it just jumped into the story with very few details on the world-building, and there were several times that i had to reread pages just so i can have clearer picture of what's happening. nevertheless, i've decided to continue w/the 2nd book, as i don't like leaving stories hanging.

The idea was above unique. I will continue to be disappointed that I didn't think of such a great and different idea. The characters were intriguing. And with such description, I actually felt like I was part of their world. It has everything you want to see in a book: drama, action, intensity, romance etc. 5/5 stars!
WHY CAN'T MY LIBRARY HAVE THE REST? NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE OTHER THREE TO GET HERE FROM BOOK OUTLET AND AMAZON. 😩 #zodiac #rominarussell
