You know how some books have a very specific audience in mind? This is one of them, and I don‘t think that audience is me. Nevertheless, this book did shoot me back to my university experience, and it was rewarding to watch the protagonist settle into her own skin. #covid19readathon

Okay you guys, after taking a year and half off from school (and honestly thinking I was done after getting a Bachelor's), I'm going back to school! 😍 I tried to jump straight into a Master's program at the university, but I need some pre-reqs for my program so I'll be back at community for a year.

I'm just so excited that I'm taking a step to get out of my sales career. In 2 years, I should be a certified literature teacher! 😍🤓📚

I got tired of feeling like a nobody. I got tired of wondering what would happen to me and my kids if something happened to my husband. So I‘m back in College! If all goes well, I could have my Associate of Arts at the end of this school year. Wish me luck, friends! 😄🤞🏻🍀

Q84 Oh, that's great! I've been feeling the same way lately but I need to find another job or I won't be able to afford to go back to school. Congratulations on taking a step to better yourself and to have the stability you and your children need. It's a scary feeling of not knowing what you will do without someone else's support. The knowledge of your independence will be a great feeling! 6y

AshleyHoss820 @Q84 The hardest part was the first step! I‘m thankful for Federal grants, or I wouldn‘t be able to afford it either. A friend had a heart attack recently and he‘s our age (mid-30s!) and it was a bit of a wake-up call for me and my husband! Thank you so much for your kind words! 6y

AshleyHoss820 @Nute I loved this! Sometimes you really do feel like it‘s too late, or too embarrassing, or too hard. But we should do things anyway. I kept thinking, “but I‘ll be almost 40 by the time I‘m done.” Uh, I‘m going to be almost 40 anyway. Might as well have the degree. Stacy_31 I have the printer that connects to my phone. My son has the camera but I like my printer because I can edit from my phone first. I do love shaking the film, either way. 😂😂 6y

This isn't book related but I am celebrating my last finals. Technically I have one more left but meh. Friday I will graduate with my associates degree and be the first in my family to have a college degree.

I might go back and get my bachelors but I need a break. Working full time and going to school is draining.
