I enjoy Jennifer Weiner books and this was no exception. It was a fun story with a good main character. I would recommend this book.

This is my favorite book of the ones I‘ve read by the tagged author. #adventrecommends #wintergames #thefilthyanimals @StayCurious @Clwojick @emilyrose_x
loved the first 80% of this book, but the last part dragged. A classic rom-com story, Cannie struggles to accept herself, her weight, and get over an ex, but surrounded with good friends, she goes on a journey of self-realization. Fun on audio, tho I wish the narrator had properly pronounced the Yiddish and Hebrew words in the book - small gripe. This was the first book I‘ve read by this author and would read another. I grabbed this book from our local little free library thinking “I loved Jennifer Egan‘s book A Visit from the Goon Squad”. Yes I know. I had my Jennifer‘s mixed up. I worked this out about 70 pages in when I was thinking the story isnt that riveting and the writing nothing special. Anyway I ditched it. So I can‘t very well rate it now.
I read this years ago but picked it up because of the title. I then proceeded to read it and laugh my ass off, along with sharing teary moments for the main character. My favorite book of hers and my #favoritetitle for today.
A sweet little love story that is not as raunchy as the title suggests. I really enjoyed it. A nice, light read. 🐙
No matter how your 2017 was, I hope that you learned a lot and are ready for the fresh start of a new year. #Celebrate. You made it! Happy 2018. I wish you enough. ❤️ And thanks to @TK-421 for such a fun photo challenge. If I drop off the radar again in a week, it is because school has started again. #quotsy #quotsydec17 Also, I‘m cheating and making this work for the #survivingdecember prompt, too. I mean, it is about being good in bed. 😂
I hate shopping so if I #spentadayholidayshopping my brain would be fried and all I would be able to handle is some feel good chick lit.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this book was a little more... it is laugh-out-loud funny at times, but has some darkness and lemotional punch. The main character is complex, and does some things that are not nice, but that makes her more real for me. I really enjoyed this!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I basically read this in one long sitting. My eyes hurt and my house has not cleaned itself, so it's time to put on an audiobook and get moving. 😂
Current iPad read. 😃
So, cool thing about working in a library (THERE ARE SO MANY COOL THINGS!) is that I have to work on sharpening my Readers' Advisory skills and that means reading books I never thought to pick up!
A light fun reading. "At first my eyes wouldn't make sense of the letters. Finally, they unscrambled." Loving a Larger Woman, "said the headline, by Bruce Guberman. Bruce Guberman had been my boyfriend for just over three years, until we'd decided to take a break three months ago. And the larger woman, I could only assume, was me." Life has been busy/stressful/blah. I needed this book this month. Funny, affirming, smart, and nuanced-- Cannie was easy to root for.
I also needed cake in my life. Thanks @tlmorgan !! 😁
I am definitely a bed reader, when circumstances allow. #riotgrams #howyouread
"Love is for suckers, and I'm not going to be a sucker ever again." Oh, Cannie. ?
Sometimes your body takes the hit. Sometimes everything you ever wanted to be is not a victory, but a cry for help.
Loaned to me by a friend, who lists it as one of her favorite books. Not something I'd have likely picked up on my own, so left to my own devices I would have missed out. Recommended!
TMW you bring home a new library book you're not sure if you've read and find the exact same edition on your book shelf. #scatterbrained #prettysureineverreadit
Here are my only #titlewithgood in them. #aprilbookshowers
This is one of my favorite chick lit books!

These two things are completely unrelated 😂.
1. I enjoyed this book. I've been reading Jennifer Weiner since In Her Shoes.
2. My Dad gave me a sort of Easter basket today. 😊💓

A few runners-up for #headlesscovers. Really, these are #legsandfeetcovers! #photoadaynov16
The only book I can find on my shelves that fits today's theme for #photoadaynov16 . #headlesscovers are totally a thing, but I just don't have many!
Haven't read this yet but I hear fabulous, affirming things about Weiner.
I am enjoying reading this somewhat dated classic chick lit book, thanks to Netgalley!
I really enjoyed this book! Really loved the main character and I was pulled into her life and her struggles and her triumphs! Her voice was real, sarcastic at times and brutally honest at others, which kept me hooked! I did want to shake her a few times, but only because I cared :) ... "I think every person who is single should have a dog". Me too! If only they were less expensive to take care of.
I guess this is what they call a "beach read." Well, I'm nowhere near the sand and the waves, but that didn't put a damper on my enjoyment of this one.
I'm seeing double and my eyes ache from overuse. This is the end of the road for #24in48 . I wish it had existed when my eyes were younger! 😜
I think I need to read this now. Yet do I really want to face my own body? #24in48 #readathon #bodyshaming
This book has been on my wish list since it was released. Yay!!
Op/Ed piece from Jennifer Weiner in the NYTimes about the divide between Literary (with a capital L) & popular fiction, & her own fears about her place in that debate. "Maybe what's behind the inequity isn't just a lack of opportunity, but an inability...to step up and say My work matters."
