Super late but thank you @WJCintron for tagging me! 💛
1) A lot! I finished my first 5K run in august so that certainly made me proud 💪🏼
2) Whenever school starts I count that as Autumn 😂 My little brother started on the first this month, so I hVe already mentally shifted to Autumn 🍂
3) Ohh man so many. I really want to tackle My Neighbor Totoro because I‘ve yet to have seen the movie OR read the book 💛
@MoonWitch94
Last night I finished My Neighbor Totoro and the story was super cute. I‘m a big Studio Ghibli fan! Even though I love a lot of the other movies, Totoro has always been my favorite. This story is heart warming and magical, and I loved Satsuki and Mei‘s adventures in their new house and with Totoro. The illustrations are beautiful and I also enjoyed the extra backstory Tsugiko Kubo added, it made it so much more wholesome! 5/5 ⭐️ for me!
I absolutely love books that have maps to use as reference throughout the story. It‘s super neat when they‘re large and semi complex with legends— but I also love this simplistic and colorful, smaller scale map 🌎
Fun field trip today! Went to the new Kinokuniya bookstore in Austin with a friend. And yes, they have loooots of Totoro merch! Also Pusheen plushies. 😻 Oh and of course books—Japanese and English language books about Japan as well as bestsellers, manga, and kids‘ books.
Oof, a difficult read- may be down t translation issues but I struggled to get invested enough to finish it.
Oh my heart. If only I could watch and read ghibli media all day!!! I don‘t think my life would be the same if I had never rented my first studio ghibli film from blockbuster when I was a kid, my introduction to Miyazaki and his wonders started with Kiki‘s Delivery Service, then Castle In The Sky And one of the best, Princess Mononoke
1.2.19 if anyone knows me, they know I LOVE Totoro 💖 for Christmas my boyfriend got me some really cool things along with My Neighbor Totoro the novel!
Tomorrow is my nephews 3rd birthday so my sister and I are having a decorate off in who makes the better Totoro. I‘m rather proud of mine.
1. Watching the movie My Neighbor Totoro always makes me happy.
2. I would want to live in the book/movie and meet Totoro!
3. Unsweetened iced tea.
4. Dream about taking a vacation.
5. Rain. It nourishes everything and I can still see the green leaves on the trees.
#HumpDayPost @MinDea
1. But it‘s way to expensive and I‘m not sure where exactly I could fit a giant Totoro in the house.
2. Neither. I prefer dark chocolate.
3. Only one? Maybe Harry Potter...?
4. A bomber pilot in the Air Force.
5. 42. #humpdaypost
So my son is quite sick and so my #LitsyPartyOfOne is being crashed with him in bed with me. So I‘m reading a book about plagues while My Neighbor Totoro is on for him (and let‘s be honest myself as well) in the background. But we‘ve got some autumn twinkle lights and pumpkin spice foods to make it as cozy as possible. #HostPost

Behold! The reading nook in my new apartment! The side table was a gift from my brother (an air force vet)
Really loved this book! It's not often a movie turns into a book after the fact. Such beautiful illustrations and loved being back in this story.
A sudden gust of wind that shook her thoughts: So many things in life pass quickly and... #MyNeighborTotoro #HayaoMiyazaki #quotes #nowreading #books #StyleReader
I am a massive fan of Studio Ghibli films, they are wonderful and whimsical. One of my favourite characters are Totoro and I could not wait to read the novel. The story is magical, I loved reading about the adventures of Satsuki & Mei, the illustrations are gorgeous to look at, just a lovely read.
I found Totoro and a soot sprite at the library today!

These are my Totoro bookmarks. They're my latest acquisition. I love bookmarks! I use a lot of vintage playing cards or concert tickets, ones brought back from travels and some that were lovingly handmade. You can never have too many...
A Totoro reading nook? Yes please. #Need
