This was a really funny and quick read. The Christmas element was used splendidly and I understood the character dynamics even though I haven't read the rest of the series. I will be reading the rest of the series at some point now, though!

I had forgotten how much fun this series was. I love the wacky cast of characters and I find the mysteries are always well done. It was an extra special treat to recognize all the quotes from a Christmas Carol which i just finished reading yesterday during the buddy read.

mabell @LibrarianRyan It is so unique, not like the typical cozies. I wish more people knew about it! 7y

Using my friend Donna's book (like cozy mysteries? Try her!) to highlight the neighborhood geese. The live over there (on the other side of a busy 5 lane road) where there is a pond, but come over here daily to eat. Terrifying to watch as they always walk, never fly. Funny to watch during rush hour though, when they back up all the traffic.

Hornsby78 That would give me a panic attack. NERVE RACKING with all of that traffic! 8y
Suzze @Hornsby78 A friend was over last week when they were crossing and I thought she was going to have one. I'm used to it, and in the last few years only one has been killed (that I have seen or heard of). 8y
