This was a tightly written, perfectly paced thriller that I read in a day. So good! #BookspinBingo #Bookspin #BOTM @TheAromaofBooks

My October TBR for #Bookspin, #HauntedSelf, and #CasttheDie (first 13 with the tagged as my Lucky Book), plus several alternates since I have so many newer titles on my TBR and those are sometimes difficult to acquire in a timely manner without breaking the budget. (And because I was too excited about spooky reading to stop at 20.)
And here's Camille, making sure I'm doing it right.

Up next…my September #bookspin pick! I bought this at Ernest Hemingway‘s house on a trip to Key West back in 2020. @TheAromaofBooks

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My hopes were very high for this book, and it absolutely did not disappoint.
Magical, fantastical, romantic, and so cozy, I loved every minute. I bought the hardcopy, but I exclusively listened to the audiobook because MacLaren is one of my favorite readers.
This book has a lot to say about what makes us valuable or worthy and how important our found families are, and it was such a pocket of peace. I highly recommend it.
Next up is an #arc from #netgalley that I‘m finally getting around to.
This was also my June's #bookspin pick.
Such a fun and strange (in a good way) graphic novel!
The premise is very cool. It‘s about a soon to be 13 year old girl who starts getting nightmares of her impending doom filled birthday (she‘s born on 4/4, which is considered unlucky in Chinese culture). These dreams somehow end up in the comic she is creating.
