📖 I‘m a hardcover lover!
📖 More fiction to help me deal with reality but I still like nonfiction
📖Meet the author, in that way I can understand better my fave character
📖I will continue buying books because I‘m a collector (not a book hoarder😜) but that‘s why I keep my fav books, to re-read them someday, when? 🤷🏽‍♀️
📖Both
📖More fantasy but I like some romance sometimes
📖Enemies to lovers
📖Both but I like to buy books
Thanks @Bklover

TheLibrarian Love your answer for the re-reading/buying. My response would pretty much be exactly the same! 2y
Gissy @TheLibrarian In terms of libraries, they are beautiful to admire and see the collections they have plus some of them are beautiful but I want to have my own books☺️
Not allow to buy new books? Never is going to happen to me😜
Re-read? Well, so many books, so little time.
I will live surrounded by books the rest of my life. I bet you think the same🤗

This one is so hard! Obviously I can't live without apples or sunflowers! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday... & October & November are my favorite months! But this means you want me to never have apple cider, bonfires, or hayrides ever again?! Or see adorably fat little pumpkins everywhere?? I don't think I can do it! 😂

#ThoughtfulThursday @moonwitch94

Thanks for tagging me @robinb @UwannaPublishme! Wanna play @Bookzombie @cewilf @CrowCAH?

CrowCAH Sure, I can play; thanks for the tag! 3y
Bookzombie Thanks for tagging me! 3y

HELP❗❕ I'm moving home and can't pack this way!! (I tried) How do you pack books safely with no risk of damage please⁉️❔ I have around 500 books and the kids have even more than that 😬😅 also for anyone who has lego.... what is the best way to pack lego models that have been built❔⁉️ please and thank you. #help #guidance #pleasepleaseplease #movinghome #packing #needmagic @Jackal121 @CymbaX13 @Mishu94

emmalouise1 I put mine jnto pillow cases and then in large shopping bags when I moved :) was a lot of bags but they survived 3y
hannah-leeloo I don't have that many pillow cases 😬😅 I will have to do that for my delicate sets though thank you @emmalouise1 📚 3y
emmalouise1 @hannah-leeloo what about using t-shirts then it's just something to protect spines and edge's I found when moving :) 3y

hannah-leeloo Thats true! I am really not awake or prepared enough 😅🤣 good idea thank you 😊 @emmalouise1 3y
emmalouise1 @hannah-leeloo your very welcome . My books were the last thing I moved I was to scared to damage them. I hope you have a successful move and settle in nice and quick :) 3y
Cupcake12 Can‘t think of a way but wanted to wish you all the best with the house move ❤️❤️ 3y
hannah-leeloo Thank you so much @Cupcake12 and @emmalouise1 I'll be able to update everyone after the move to say if everything survived 🤞🏻😬🙏🏻😅 3y
DrexEdit It's all about protecting them & making sure they don't shift around in the box in transit. That can damage corners or spine ends. I recommend rigid plastic tubs if you can get them. Stuff the empty space with towels or clothes or bubble wrap so things don't shift. If you use cardboard boxes that are taped closed, make sure you put something (cardboard, thick newspaper, old towel) on top so no one slices into the covers when the box is opened. 3y
hannah-leeloo Thank you @DrexEdit fingers crossed all goes well 3y
Sweetkokoro For lego models you can disassemble them in large pieces you want them as flat as possible and wrap them in cling wrap to hold together, any small fragile pieces remove from the model but include it in the cling wrap to the piece it goes to so it doesn‘t get lost and then add a layer of bubble wrap for extra cushion. And then make sure the boxes you put them have cushion as well. 3y
hannah-leeloo Good idea didn't think of cling wrap thank you @Sweetkokoro 🤗❤ 3y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I used lots of small boxes since books get heavy. I have some that are less precious than others so I put them in shopping bags or used them on top of others to fill out the box for easy stacking. Good luck! Moving sucks but once you're settled in the new place it feels so nice. 3y
hannah-leeloo Thank you very much @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick 😊❤ 3y
Mishu94 Maybe you could put them in a storage box? That‘s what I do 😂😂 3y
hannah-leeloo I've filled 9 boxes so far of just my books and 4 on the kids and that's just one of their book cases 😳😬 @Mishu94 😅🤣 3y

It‘s my turn to pick a book for my book club. I think I‘ve narrowed it down to these two. Thoughts?

⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book offers a fantastic guide on laying out the Biblical principles of decision making. Far too often people sit around waiting for a sign to do something. Even more so Christians are often waiting for God to write it in the sky. DeYoung promotes the idea that God has given you everything you need to know His will so get out there and do it! #Religious #Christian #action #audiobook

I usually have no trouble deciding what my next book should but I can‘t seem to make up my mind. Which would you recommend?

SassyBookworm Ohh The Huntress just checked out for me on my Libby app and I can‘t wait to dive into it...But I‘m also super interested in Anastasia! You have a great list but those would be my top two! 5y
phatsallylee Of the options, I've only read 7 1/2 deaths of evelyn hardcastle. I really enjoyed the twists and turns of this mystery. 5y

Crazeedi This was great, and I've heard nothing but great about huntress, I have it on my nightstand 5y
TrishB I‘ve only read Once Upon a River and loved it. 5y
LiteraryinLawrence I really liked Evelyn Hardcastle, but it took me a little while to get into it. 5y
Deblovestoread Thanks for the help @SassyBookworm @Cinfhen @phatsallylee @Crazeedi @TrishB and @LiteraryinLititz I think I am starting with The Huntress and then Once Upon A River. 5y

Help, I need help! 😁

The bottom 4 books are definites (I think!) for next weekend‘s reading retreat, but I‘m not sure 4 is enough...

I‘ve picked out another 6 possibilities... which one or two of the top 6 on the pile would you take?

eraderneely I didn‘t love The Immortalists, but I‘m really interested in The Essex Serpent myself. So that‘s what I‘d choose! 5y
eraderneely On another note, I can‘t imagine needing 8 books for the weekend! I‘m bringing 2-3!!! 5y
LeahBergen The Essex Serpent. I‘ve had it on my own TBR shelf for ages! 5y

Leniverse The Elegance of the Hedgehog is supposed to be excellent. I would bring that. In fact, if you do, I might have a quick look at it! 😁 (And I recently read A Gentleman in Moscow and it was SO EXCELLENT. 😃) 5y
rockpools I‘d vote The Essex Serpent too! If you don‘t get to reading it (which I‘m sure you will) you can just admire the cover 😍! 5y
scripturient I‘d go for the Essex Serpent as well. 😊 I‘ve been making decisions and revising them all week. I now think I‘ll only take two books from here as I‘ll probably end up buying two or three in Chester anyways (Ali Smith‘s Spring and the new Michelle Paver book at least 😁). 5y
scripturient The Elegance of the Hedgehog is a super lovely book though so if you want something heart-warming, pick that one. 😊 5y
sprainedbrain Night Road is good! I have Essex Serpent but haven‘t read it yet. 5y
JenReadsAlot The Immortalists! 5y
Mitch Is something different from your definite pile.... maybe variety is the way to go! 5y
julesG I can't recommend any of these since I haven't read them. I like the Hedgehog title though. 😉 5y
Oryx I really liked The Immortalists. 5y
Oryx I have that exact same Persephone on my bedside table right now! I've only read a bit so far. 5y
squirrelbrain @oryx - when I bought the Persephone I was told it wasn‘t an easy read, as one can imagine with the subject matter, so I‘m going to dip in and out of it I think, between other books.... 5y
squirrelbrain Thanks @eraderneely @LeahBergen @Leniverse @RachelO @scripturient @sprainedbrain @JenReadsAlot @Cathythoughts @Mitch @julesG @Soubhiville @oryx; it looks like the Hedgehog is coming on the retreat for definite, and then either The Immortalists or The Essex Serpent....! But still time to change my mind 12 times before then...., 🤣 5y
Cathythoughts Yes !! Love The Hedgehog ♥️ 5y
julesG At least 12 times. 😁 5y
jhod I might buddy read hedgehog with you as it's on my kindle! 5y
squirrelbrain @jhod - it‘s definitely coming with me so we can buddy read! @Leniverse - I may even let you take a peek, if you‘re lucky! 🤪 5y
Leniverse 🤞😄 5y
