pickTHIS one I liked more. The banter between Little Sh*t Asteroth and Always Fighting Calladia was tasty. Maybe I'm just a sucker for...well, this wasn't exactly enemies to lovers, but it was close! As close as you can probably get in contemporary fiction. The ending was...interesting, but I can appreciate that these books, while romances, try to tackle Big Issues(TM) as well as personal ones.

pickThis was a light hearted magical rom-com with all the best bits — enemies to lovers, forced proximity, humour and silliness and spice. And yet…somehow also managed to be a very insightful look at abusive relationships, self-awareness and working to be a better person, and racial politics. This book was a bit of a ride, but I enjoyed every second of it.

pickThis started out strong and lagged a bit in the middle then ended a little stronger. I guess the idea was too far fetched for me and I kind of loathe interest. Still a pretty good read though. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
so-soI read the 1st in this series with #lmpbc Witchy group we all rated it “eh” to soft pick, but I was in the mood for some 🌶️ & fluff so I tried the 2nd book. The world is established but it‘s a much slower setup, doesn‘t quite fit “enemies to lovers” since the enemy has amnesia, 🌶️doesn‘t start til much further in (fine, but not what I expected) does get really entertaining towards the end but the setup is silly &harder to care about the couple
pickIt would be so bizarre to wake up & not remember the last ten years. So many things happen in that amount of time, and so many things don‘t change. I‘m not sure about the ending, but it was a good read.
