Lisey's Story: A Novel | Stephen King

Willing this stuffy summer heat away with some chill by the King.

Would recognize his style in a heartbeat. Despite the crassness and the gore, his characters are always so deep, so real. A master storyteller if there is one.

This book was, is and will forever continue to be one of the most beautiful and heartwarming books I ever read. The heart is so happy after reading it again❤️

And I will read this book, again and again until our only sun goes out or I cease to breathe.

Love ❤️ to all silent women.

Mehso-so

I didn‘t like it much. There wasn‘t anything encouraging me to pick up the book after I begin reading so it took a couple of weeks to finish. I just didn‘t like the idea of child monsters.

What I did like is the ending for each character left. I think everyone got the ending perfect for them considering the rest of the story.

All in all, the book had it‘s good points, but it isn‘t a story I would ever pick up again

Wow... I don't usually read zombie books but this one is good...haven't finished it yet but I like the way that it's different than those dead-people-loose-in-the-city kinda stories.

But the fact that it's based on something that actually exists in real life is truly freaking me out!

I adored this book.
Growing up as an introvert in a community that considers being quiet as weakness has been draining. It took me two decades to find my voice. I wish I had this book when i was younger!
On the other hand, I'm glad that Susan Cain decided to write it; introverted kids now have support, which is extremely comforting.
I'll make sure to pass the book to everyone who might need it.
